Sitting in a room
Silent and secluded
Full of friendly people
Spitting out laughter
That spins around me.
Chaotic chatter driven
By teenage hormones
Chasing a night of
Passionless pursuits.
Just watch and observe as
Innocent fearlessness
And a lack of perspective
Cover the windows
Of future’s that could
Be so bright.
