The Game you created
you saw those grey clouds coming my way
not one single word did you have the nerve to say
Helping me would be way out of your league
so you left me there only to beg and plead
Silent yet screaming so loud, you walked away
You said this was nothing but a game i liked to play
If this was true id like to think you made it up
all my thoughts ran like water into an empty cup
If everything around me was apart of the game
I'd take the towel, smear on happiness and wipe away the disappointment and pain
I'd take the remote and fast forward to a time when i wont have to fake a smile, or play pretend, i can show the real me
I'd take off my clothes, turn on the water, grab the soap and scrub on a girl who can finally live free
I know you'd have a fit if i were playing alone, so i added you unknowingly in
I'd draw you on a piece of paper, take the eraser and erase you from my memory then start again.
