Emptiness
I wake up to a morning of rain and petty alleys
And listen to the music of rattling nature bloom...
The tatty sheets look sickened of all the toss and turning
While daylight shows up ghostly, and rushes through my room.
I close the drapes and ponder. There’s just so much I’m
missing...
To me is like all flowers are colourless and pale,
All smiles are there, I see them, but lack warmth, life and
feeling
And every man looks altered by lying and betrayal.
It’s times like these when angels remind me that I need you,
And paint me dreams of comfort where neither is too far...
But ‘till that day, my reason, my sunshine and my beating
Will stand in reminiscing how beautiful you are...
