Frozen

Lost in a crowd
falling through the cracks
wishing I could drip and slip away
but I'm frozen here
surrounded by cheer
that cannot melt my ice cold heart

 

                                                                                                          


I wish I could find you
I wish I could go back when
we were together
and the world seemed
less frightening
cause you were here
to hold me close
but you've gone
and the moments passed
never to return again
and so I'm stuck here
alone and lost
without you
