I have come to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum.

Beige pigs in long wigs
I hear her and her
cronies snorting
and laughing on
four seaters
so I went over,
leaning against
her chair like
some villain
she expects
us to become
told her i'm joining in
on the conversation,
knowing I overheard
her talking about me
her three friends look
down at the floor as
the train rolls into
London St Pancras
as she continues
to deny discussing
about me soon as
I stepped aboard
this rush hour train,
I repeat word
for...

I am actually so tired.
Of being asked to come out.
Being asked if i've eaten today.
When my next relief shift is.
Have I jot working dates down
on a calendar. Do I want to do this.
Do I want to do that. What am I up to.
Being called up asking where I am.
People forgetting I said I won't be
home. Calling in a panic when I
explained the aforementioned
in a text message hours ago.
People constantly baying
for undivided attention.

Tale of the hare (For Northern_Soul)
I often think of you
the hare burrowed
comfortably inside
my left ribcage,
rising up, stoking
fires in ivory glades,
carving ripples
in blood instead
of water and
fresh lakes,

your life long companion,
