Burned Soul
Feel the fall that defines you
the emptiness that eats a hollow hole
take note of the traps inside your mind
they will ensnare a sense of bravado
that will kiss inside
it feels like imperfect failings
the taste of kisses like roses like cliched
romances
enough moronic devices
say what's on your skin
a tattoo you could remove
simply
don't
apply talents to other creations
the kind you can feel pulsating under fragile
skin
whipping back and forth
and back
and forth
twisting snakes sans fangs
sans...

Even in Heaven
I was looking up at the sky today
And I was wondering why it looked so pretty
Then I remembered
It's because I knew you were up there
I know even though you're far away
I know we will meet again someday
Even though your body's gone
Your heart still lives on
Cause it's here with us now
You promised me you'd never leave,
and You said you wouldn't lie
And you never did
Thank you, Grandma
Thank you for reminding me
That when someone is gone
They never truly leave.
You're always here watching over me
Always here with...

Still the bar is set too far
Still the beating of your heart
Still the judgement on your soul
It takes a toll
It takes it's hold
It stakes it's claim
And you will be no more
Just let go of the pressures
And say what's in your heart
It's a feeling you can't start
to understand
Don't let them
undermine
Or undersell your confidence
YOur sense of who you are
It is important
That you be
Who you set out to be
The hero of your story
Can't be anyone but you
Still the beating of your heart

Hell Came Tonight
I'm cold and I feel out of place
I don't wanna wake up tomorrow.
There is silence among chatter
I can't speak, I bow my head
Letting all dignity go
But I can't push it away
The uncomfortable misplaced feeling
Do you wanna die? .. Yes
But it's like when you're sad in public
You cannot speak, you cannot scream
You sit theree and you cry
Every tear goes unnoticed.
For the first time in a long time
I am reminded.
I feel like an outcast among normies
Is this what I wanted?
Farthest from it, I wish I died a long time ago
