Stoned
Shrouded eyes,
away with the birds,
shutting down,
on cloud nine,
this confident bliss,
shines over me,
and I wouldn't miss,
the feeling of being free,
one more pull,
to calm the nerves,
and I will fall,
into blissful ease.

Love Is What You've Been Through With Somebody
Love is,
what you've been through with somebody,
what you've cried out to somebody,
what you've found deep inside somebody,
what you've appreciated from somebody.
Love is,
all the times you felt alive,
all the times you felt awake,
all the times you felt desire,
all the times you felt secure.
Love is,
the embrace that gives you hope,
the smile that gives you strength,
the eyes that give you faith.
Love is what you've been through with somebody. -- James Thurber

The Magic Of Our First Love Is Our Ignorance That It Can Ever End
I'm living on love,
even though the door is locked,
I'm waiting outside,
hoping I'll find the key,
I'm living on love,
even though I'm out in the cold,
for I know that somehow,
we will be OK.
Through all the pain,
doesn't matter anyway,
cos we are one,
and we're not done,
I'm sure of that,
and I will find,
some sort of will,
for us to carry on,
for I know not,
life without you.

Freedom Calls
Freedom Calls,
but will you answer?
There is no cure,
for the cancer,
that causes you to hide,
and make you unwilling to confide,
in anybody or anything,
for you have been crushed,
but we must sing,
together now through thick and thin,
for freedom calls,
calls from within.

Inside Insanity
The term they use is insanity,
but I keep thinking how can I be?
I think of things in such a way,
that you wouldn't think of come what may.
I find the truth in complete lies,
I find a welcome in all goodbyes.
So now I ask you dearly,
just because I see clearly,
am I really plagued with insanity?

My First Love
My first love was not what I expected,
I thought I had experienced love before,
but when this love hit me,
and it hit me hard,
I knew my past feelings were mere imposters,
For this girl I loved,
or I should say love,
for I still do,
was one of a kind,
understanding and sweet,
I explained her my feelings,
when we first did meet,
and she mirrored them back,
and a fire was born,
inside my heart,
that has never once worn.
I thought I had experienced love before,

Against the Ebbing Tides
Oh, all the times,
ever I spent,
all alone,
in my mind,
in my own world,
I longed for you,
my companion.
And I met you one day,
and we found that,
we found eachother,
good company,
so on we journeyed,
together as one,
to find a joy,
that we both longed.
Life must hurt,
for us to heal,
and we must heal,
for us to learn,
and hurting and healing and learning is easier,
when the person beside you is the best kind of healer.
And come with time,
happiness and tranquility, ...

Into The Deep
In the deep,
I tend to fall,
the shallow waters,
are overhauled,
by my tendency,
to fall,
into the deep.
And even though I try to fight,
to come out where there is light,
I sometimes feel like it's too bright,
and fall back down in my deep plight,
but if I could just master flight,
I'd soar from the deep,
and then I just might,
find my way to harmony,
find my way to you and me.
