POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
My poetry goes upon inspiration or lack of information. I really don't have much of a signature or trade mark, but I try to keep my meanings strong.
Shed Some Light on the Situation
She looked out into the dark yard
and she saw red eyes
staring back at her.
She knew what it was,
her fear with a thirst for her blood
and her life.
She almost screamed
but she then realized,
“This is pathetic.”
She turned on the outside light
to reveal an albino bunny
sitting under a chair.
and she saw red eyes
staring back at her.
She knew what it was,
her fear with a thirst for her blood
and her life.
She almost screamed
but she then realized,
“This is pathetic.”
She turned on the outside light
to reveal an albino bunny
sitting under a chair.

Strength
Each word
sliced across her body,
leaving a thin trail of blood behind.
They tried cutting at her brain
but she gave them the finger
and walked away
dignified.

Tied Up
Years ago,
the lake washed tiny shells
and random debris up on a small beach,
it also washed untied boats out to the middle.
So from past experiences
he made sure he tied his boat by the shore,
he was getting too old to swim out to the middle and retrieve it.
With each year stacked upon his life,
his boat stayed tied to that post
for longer periods of time.
When the final stacks to his life pyramid were being stacked,
the boat stayed tied up.

The Unselfish Glory of Flowers
Beautiful flowers live through their cycles
and when the time comes,
they slowly start dropping pedals
leaving some beauty
for the rest of the world
to cherish.
Humans should learn from flowers,
their unselfish glory
could rid the world of its pain
and spread eternal peace.

Whirling Toughts
I threw all my thoughts off of that bridge,
they cluttered my mind
and the water was so rappid,
I knew it would take them far.
I sat, and I watched
as they swirled and whirled in the white water.
When they got out of sight,
I knew I was safe,
so I got up and kept walking,
with my only thought
was being wary of any train noises.

Souls of the Sky
The night reveals shining souls.
They all glitter,
and dance
across their bed of black satin
for everyone’s enjoyment.
I look upon those souls,
and I speak to a few in particular,
telling them I love them,
and just talking.
For they need someone to talk to them
without wishes.

The Culture of Happiness
Deep from within a top hat,
shown a light.
The top hat had been upside down for years,
not one single soul could turn it,
and the day the light shown,
the world found out why.
Hours after the fight sighting of the light
it had been growing bigger,
and brighter.
By the end of the day,
all that was coming from the top hat was light.
Suddenly a head came out of the hat,
it was a head with brown hair
and a face with a huge smile.
She said no words,
and her smile never failed
as she exited the top hat with...

Your Words
Truth will be revealed
by your words,
and your words only.
Any words that come from your mouth
of other’s possesions
will not be known as truth,
nor lie,
they won’t be accounted for.

Description
Oh, you know who I mean, the girl that is kind of big, with brown hair, green eyes, kind of yellow teeth. Her breath smells kind of bad sometimes. Yeah, that girl, her name is Cheyenne.”
How else am I to be described?
I don’t know if that is exact quotes,
but what else would people say?
“The girl with a beautiful voice.”?
No.
“The girl who loves to write.”?
No.
“The girl who has some facial hair.”?
Probably, I mean why not?
Descriptions are vague
and external,
as are...

Carnage
The squeamish should turn away,
because life is about to add some more carnage
to the already huge pile.
It’s cutting me,
and hitting me,
and shall kill me soon enough,
as to relieve some stress off of itself.
So prepare yourself for bloodshed,
and the world takes me down.
because life is about to add some more carnage
to the already huge pile.
It’s cutting me,

A Play of Stargazing
The dew on the grass transferred to her pants as she sat down.
The night was cold and dark,
perfect condition for stargazing.
Armed with a flashlight,
she laid back and looked at the stage before her,
a beautiful play was being held
of twinkling stars,
and a few falling.
*
During intermission as a cloud covered the sky,
mist started to surround the girl.
It was a dark mist that stopped her flashlight beam flat.
It engulfed her and swept her off of her feet,

Cold
Her hand burned where he last touched it,
making sure she doesn’t forget.
She presses it firmly to her cheek
to keep her tear-soaked face warm
in the whirling wind of a cold winter night.
Her legs have gone numb,
so has he heart,
because they sat out in the snow too long
without his loving touch to keep them warm.
Loneliness drowns her
in every aspects
as her head falls to the ground.
She isn’t dead,
yet,
but she soon will be.
