If I fall for you
Will I hurt for it?
If I let you back in
Will I want to die?

And will I cry?

Will tears cascade down my face?
The knife under my bed
Waits for my death.
It wants to drink in my blood
And taste the flesh of my heart.

My Angel
An angel came
To save my soul
He sifted through the pieces
Trying to make me whole.
I stared in wonder
I’d thought no one cared
But he put me back together
With love to be shared.
My angel saved me
From the death that I had planned
He turned each problem

I Cannot Forget
I cannot forget
And you cannot teach me to.
Why would you ask me to forget
The feel of loving lips pressed against mine?

What more do you want
From this shattered heart?
You took love
You took trust.
What more can you take from me?
I trusted you
I gave you love and passion
We writhed on your sheets
And slept till late.
I was loyal to your desires
To your heart.
So you took my love
You took my trust.
And just as I was getting comfy
You struck me heart.
It shattered into millions of pieces.
When you said we had to break up.

Our Final Kiss
Rose petals falling
Gently tangling in your hair.
This is the end.
We’ve known forever
That this would come.
And it is far more beautiful
Than I could have possibly imagined.
There are no tears
No useless cries to continue this.
Only the rose petals tangling around us
And a final kiss.
You want to blame me
For all the pain in your heart.
Even your wandering eyes
Are my fault in your mind.
I wish I could be angry

She smiles,
A small, lilting smile.
Is she happy?
She looks happy
She acts happy.
But life is not a mirror.
There is always another side.
Life is a crystal ball.
All is not as it seems.
The smoke swirls
And clouds the truth.
I see a smile in the smoke.
Her mother sees laughter within the ball.
Her father sees brilliance and changes.
She sees pain.
