Renewable Energy
Clouds couldn't contain
This blooming of smiles
Hearts raced against thoughts and
One could not be sure
Which words ran across babbling lips
Freely flowing and alive
With not a moment spared for reason
Energized skin sparks a storm
Within the storm
First touches come gently
With just a hint of asking
Fiercely replaced by grasping
pulling clawing embrace
Intwined as though in frantic struggle
To make a trade of skins
Baptised in one scorching moment
Of unity
Both are reborn
Life becomes shining and new
Magic...

hurry
"Dismiss me not."
Echoed through the glistening fragments of wasted thoughts.
Flattening the solidity of waking moments.
Some dreamers can sense what isn't yet.
How many times must I spin in circles?
All it takes is a reaching
I know.
The crunching of leaves
the snap of twigs
shall follow my footsteps a while longer.
Music to my ears in just the right amounts
Do you believe me yet?
No matter
It isn't a familiar way to many
and no one wants a demonstration
better to be right
or is it better to be wrong?
Whatever...

Break on through
"Where did the spark go?," she shouts
"Look at me!"
The heavy dark lashes remained unraised
He had ran all that distance in so few steps
And broken the barrier of no return
Yet, here he was
The fog had lifted fully at last
and through sudden clarity-
How disappointing to see
it all still just looked the same
Only with sharper edges
A cleaner cut around the colors of souls
Her whisper now:
"Your silence is like the grave."
(sinking heads mirror each other)

just another woe is me
Hard to claw my way up
towards anything resembling contentment
In a world where the hollow
has infected everything
And I am dying to cry out everything from the core
Trembling to share all that dwells
in the deepest end of my soul
To anyone
who would care to know
But not a one
has chosen to delve into those depths with me
And not one
cares to touch anything further than
skin deep
Hope doesn't float
It sinks
Now I don't have the desire
To find it on my own
What use is the better part of me
With no one to appreciate...

Shivering
In a round-about way
you killed me in those moments
Sleep was still encrusted
in the creases of my nightmares
They weren't the worst words ever thrown at me
But they hit with the hardest blow
Softly shattering
I couldn't grasp all of the pieces fast enough
I just couldn't
This grotesque mosaic lies within its own lies
useless on the floor of my hollow dreams
I shuffle the shards around a bit
Trying to make them make some sense
somehow
"This is what it must be like"
The words bounce back to me ...

Daymare
The breath of my spirit was filled and stilled in those pools.
The shape of truth slowly took form and came hobbling up to me. One good leg was all it ever needed.
It spoke with a click of closing jaws.
And I could hear the unspoken cliches.
The difference between lie and true dripped
with each graceful slip
in its hunger fueled saliva.
I followed with blind eyes the falling drops and reached to block as they raced to meet dirt.
The hunger seeped into my skin
then rolled the long way down my chin.
Will this need forget me now?
Sealed wish with...

Short, Hot, and Sweet
He makes my caged bird flutter
Feel the rapid, beating wings
Pulsing rhythms of desire
That this bird shall never sing
See reflections of the fire
Burning in familiar pools
Where the heat shall not expire
And the flames are his to use

Pulsing rhythms of desire
That this bird shall never sing

moonshine
Longing for a chance
to open for you
Be your toxic moonflower
A bud to blossom under
your frame
Silhouetted by the light
of the moon.
Taste of the poisonous nectar
surrender as its filling your bloodstream
invading your mind
Speaking to your dreams
In visions of wilder things
to open for you
Be your toxic moonflower
A bud to blossom under
your frame
Silhouetted by the light
of the moon.

Familiar Teacher
Hello once more my old friend
Somehow I always knew
I would live to see you come back around
O How familiar is this
Silence hung from your lips
and the way your embrace sways me so
Softly yet without any warmth
You always were
My most reliable companion
And only with you have I
been able to see into myself
So deeply
Yes
You bring me perfect clarity
Welcome back
Throbbing stillness,
shall I take your arm?
I have missed
something in all of this
Only this time, I hope for you
to grow me
Show me what I've hidden...

Tired of following what doesn't fit
If one study shows that X amount of marriages end in divorce,
and another study shows that X amount of people in marriages cheat,
and yet more studies can be shown to prove that while some marriages do last, many of these only stuck it out for:
a.)kids
b.)financial reasons
c.) religious purposes, or
d.) any mixture of the above stated;
well then shouldn't it stand to reason that our culture,
our religions
have been teaching society the wrong lessons about love
All this time....
Maybe what we should be teaching our children about love
isn't...

The bees don't know what to do with the cold.
This is why, in parks you will see
Wild screamers
and frantic, flailing, swatters
running and cursing comically at seemingly nothing
It's hardest for the bees these months before the frost.
Share a little warmth man.
The bees give plenty of honey.

Windows or Doors or Holes in the Floors
I'm searching for trap doors
inside of my mind
Hidden passages that resist being found
Ancient as the dirt
Yet undiscovered by man
The way is uncovered
through murky suspicion and
primevil intuitions
A sensation of
"feeling your way"
through your inner senses
Endless is the maze
With endless rooms
and countless corridors
As I move forward
I go backward
Stretching new thoughts
into the bends of the old
Arranging new towers
of higher insight
still there are more boundaries to push
and...
