Here's some of my old stuff. I've grown a bit since posting on here. I hold no ill will to DUP, but I've just moved on with life and I don't get on here much anymore.

What a mad fool I must be
I make my own walls
Like everyone else
Not of brick, like others
Only sand and broken sea shells
It's funny actually
The big bad heartache
Barely blew
And this my defenses started to break
Now, everything inside
Flows like water
Rapidly and unstoppable
Leaving only the unsure
What else is there
When everything tangible
Has escaped
Leaving me, even more breakable
Like everyone else
Not of brick, like others

It's funny actually

I feel something crushing
Constricting my chest
Breaking my ribs
I'm struggling for breath
Clawing out
Spotting every fault
Breaking down
This isn't what I want
When can I go?
Run away to a place
I can escape
This beast struggling me

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

A Void Where my Dreams Escape to
Ever have those days,
Where everything is siphoned away?
Ideas, thoughts, ambitions,
Even passions wither and fade.
Blow a wish on a Dandelion,
Only to have the seeds return;
Shattering all hope of being pulled out,
Of the hole you're left in to burn.
My thoughts are pushed away,
Drained into a void.
There isn't a thing I can do,
To fight off this annoyance.
My Green Lantern ring is dead,
All will power lost from my head.
I need to find a way,
To defeat the emptiness.
No, I'm not insane,
At least not...

Change
Change is a swarm of tornadoes
Constantly moving and and absorbing
It will suck us all up
While being disorienting
You can run
Good luck trying to hide
With speeds swifter than sound
It will devour your hide
You can not want it all you wish
It will still come and sweep you away
There are the brief periods of rest
But nothing can forever stay the same

The world today.
The world is black
For a man who sees white
It puts a dull perspective on things
When every good thing is taken from your life
The more I learn
Hatred grows
This damn world
Will be devoured by the crows

I'm crystal clear
Is my skin glass?
I can't tell
Everyone can see through me
Right through my shell
My eyes don't have X-ray vision
Even the specs never work
People know me in and out
Like their favorite shirt
I don't see anything
I'm a rotten tomato
Some people see good
But then, do they really know
My skin is glass
My bones are crystal
My heart is the billboard
That shows all
I can't tell
Everyone can see through me
Right through my shell

The new Lullaby Idea (Help)
When the day is dark,
And all hope is gone.
The Sun with rise;
Bringing a new dawn.
The world is safe.
The terrors are quelled.
The light will protect
All of the world.
When the light falls;
The pitch black will reign.
Light is still alive;
For those who came.
We call out the light
To bring hope renewed.
Darkness will rise;
Then it will lose. x3
I like this one the best, what do you guys think?
