keep me young at heart
Give me a lover who can laugh.
Bring affection, care, & friendship, yes
Yet know the art of playful silly.
Love me with the depth of serious conversation
Then romp wild & free with my inner child.
Love me when my hair blows messily across my face.
Come, we’ll laugh heartily, sans inhibitions,
at each other’s jokes.
Tussle with and tickle me on the bed
Until our hair and clothes are tousled
Lighted by our widening smiles Then,
pause to hold me tight and close & calm.
Love me when I smile to big, laugh too Ioud, ...

You are where my dreams go
when looking for a nest
My soul seeks yours in freeing words
when needing peaceful rest
Your heart will always be
The Missing Piece of my own
Though I still hope the “missing” leaves
and we are simply Home
together
Someday
…
until then,

in your pocket
and keep me there
Safe

Hurting
This can’t go on
This hurting
And being hurt
Bashing into a wall
Of doubt
Until I can’t remember anymore
If I am a good person
Having caused others such doubts…
Bring a hug…
Bring a break from
these pointless endeavors…
I just need to sink softly
Into your quiet arms
& rest against
your firm strong chest
I need to feel safe & loved again.
My god, I Miss You So Much!
This hurting
And being hurt

At times deep as darkened seas
Sometimes bright as summer skies
Changing

Flows

Those windows in your subtle face
Beckon this Eye-Diver:

crash into the blue…

Wait…
pause,
ease so slight into the grey…
Be patient with the changing view
But do not go…
