I write when I'm moved to it. I write what I'm feeling or going through. I like all poetry styles, and will use whatever works best to portray my ideas. My poetry tends to center around love and relationships, but it is not exclusive to that theme.

The Cycle
Sometimes I feel like it's hopeless
But it's my nature to be hopeful
Sometimes the journey feels fruitless
But it's habitual for me to be grateful
I want so badly to throw up my hands and give in, give up, crumble
Sometimes I wonder if it was pointless
But still I can't help but be thoughtful
Sometimes I struggle feeling loveless
But in those moments I stay faithful
I've been programmed to pick myself up and move forward, move on, continue
It's lovely and tragic, beautiful and ugly, smooth and hard
It's comfortable...
But it's my nature to be hopeful

Loving Many
They speak of finding ”Your other half”
When I never felt I wasn’t whole
Now what we call “The one” I've got
Yet all my heart still isn't full
One person alone cannot be all
I have much care to give away
Falling easily into new emotion
Searching for the ones who’ll stay
Needing more than singular
Having freedom in my desire
Keeping those who fit among
While never putting out my fire
When I never felt I wasn’t whole
Now what we call “The one” I've got
Yet all my heart still isn't full
One person alone cannot be all
I have much care to give away
