I really just toss words together in vain during fits of depression to create my purpose.... Is it working?

honey
the honey that dripped
from your lips
made me want nothing more
than to be suffocated by your affection
smothered in your light
consumed by your love
however,
your eyes flickered
your only source of truth
they were your contradictions
they whispered,
that honey is tainted with lies
this truth was self-evident
a truth I often impelled myself to dismiss
yet it was myself who was burdened with the blame:
I have trust issues
yes, surely I do
but my sweet, honey-lipped boy,
as it always is, ...
from your lips

the light leaves your eyes
& then I understand
it was never from within you;
it was my reflection
my supernova
the violent, blinding light
of my destruction.

transformatiom
a wrong word
a demeaning phrase
the unrecognized
precipates metamorphosis
razor claws unsheathed
the eradication of beauty
& the birth of malevolence
the shards of reality rest at my feet
I shall transcend this mortal realm
fervent passion,
execrable lust,
contempted sadism,
previously buried in repentance
reveal themselves in a storm of anguish
human cries of petrification & disdain
simply feeding the flames
languid & gayly
I'll devour your world
which I once so oblivious enough ...

here, in the forest
someone tell me what's lurking inside
what is this rot that's spreading?
pray tell, will it subside?
or will it execute my beheading?
my goner, my goner, you've already lost
they proceed to darken the sun
the sweet morning dew turns to crisp brittle frost
see? you've never really won
I scream at them, vocal cords raw
I've fought this battle too many times!
in response, they loosen their jaws
laughing hysterically over my cries
sweet ignorant girl, start using your brain
perhaps you'll begin to comprehend ...

yes, dear, I'm talking to you
no need to fear
just make sure you pay attention
there are some things I'd like to confess
and there are some things I need to address
just a few pointless thoughts dying to get off my chest
so let's dive in, shall we?
I know what runs through your mind at night
when dark is darker than dark with no sign of light
when tears share the abundance of the shards of your ego
when your fears cling to your bones with no intent of letting go
that's what the voices tell you to do:

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

drowning
with a quivering breath
I inch my foot forward
into the fine silky sand
where I am is not an inviting paradise
but a maelstrom
thundering clouds shudder
the vibration reverberating in my chest
holding my heart hostage
the sounds of monotonous
pitter patter of rain
and constant crashing of waves
wage war with one another
the edge of the ocean's frothy waters reaches my skin
a shock rides up my spine
a blinding flash
lightning
uncovers the world
previously hidden
under the velvet blanket of darkness
the waves reach...

So Far Away
How doth a soul fly so high when it soars?
Or fall so fast when a warm heart shatters?
How can thou feel everything all at once,
And be as empty as a starless night?
I will never cease crying out for thee,
A lover much too far for me to reach.
Heaven forbid they see me weep again,
Canst you not simply take flight and fly, dear?
My feet are encased inside the damp earth,
With stubborn vines entwining my ankles.
Forever I will try so hard to fly,
But see, my heart will not go very far.
Here I shall dwell, an abandoned fellow,
Dreaming of the...

Humble Rant
I don't know how to put this feeling into words
truth be told, I'm not even sure if I'm being heard
but here I'll go, scribbling down words
the representation of the trash cluttering my mind
please turn it to the past
all I can do is hold on to you to
keep me from surrendering to these demons
the anxiety inside of me is building
and there you'll go, Father
drifting off farther
leaving my heart while I cry a bit harder
leaving me with these foolish beings that try to understand
try to reprimand
undermine, downsize
