My heart is death unto me!My heart is death!
The last waltz must be played
A final seal laid.

THE LOVE OF A GOOD WOMAN
"Son!The love of a good woman is better than your grandma gumbo!"
"And boy!Dear mama's hands were renowned beyond state line!"
"The love of a good woman," he swirl the glass in style.Sedately
"will cure your woes better than this mellowed scotch"
He stirs the wood and the dying embers re-ignites as if in encore!
"I'm telling you son!The love of a good woman
Is better than front row Super Bowl seats!"
He walks cross the room put the vinyl on the player
And as Engelbert...

Suggesting "more," perhaps?
He sweeps her to the floor
And as they sway to Afro beats his hood ramming against her booty
Fluids rhyming the eroticism of the heavy drumming and lyrics trickles with every glide!
Searching his face amongst the disappearing flashes of party lights
"Take me home." Breathless,she murmurs.Almost begging."My body is ravaged!"
From all the buzz? "desire," perhaps?!

DIVINE MASTERPIECE
A rear table for two at the Cafe Deli by the corner of Moi Avenue
Where street lights eavesdrop on lovers as they sip the night away,
I took a deep breath desperate to contain the outpouring of my dancing heart.
“Finally. After weeks of, I have him all to myself!”
Bubbling like a child eager to unwrap their first candy
I said to him, "Let me see those gifted hands!"
And as I ran my fingers across the contours
Taking in that polished leathery feel…
