Broken
Here I am.
Broken.
Tears barely escaping my eyes
Thought you were different.
Thought you were real.
You were different.
You were worse.
You swept in like a fire storm
And knocked me off my feet
Flipped me over backwards.
And I thought you caught me as I fell.
But you didn't.
You said you would.
You swore it. You promised.
Said you'd never let me get hurt.
And here I am.
Broken. Again.
A hundred promises.
A hundred hopes and lies.
I thought I was in your arms
I swear I was just a second ago. ...
Broken.

To My Son
I look at you and I see me
frolicking around at age three
Song carried in your heart
You and me, never to part
I remember you so tiny
So scared of what's in front of me
A lifetime of mine to lead
Just a tiny little weed
Growing up so strong
Yeah lifes not long
You're already seven
Not long before you're eleven
You've grown up so fast
So little, childhood lasts
Before long you'll be a full grown man
And ill love you more than any woman can
You're my son, you'll always be
My whole heart walking outside of me
...

My Story
My story starts outoriginal at best
Just a little girl put through multiple tests
A home there or here Is my home anywhere?
But girl now you're grown, Each trial is your own
A tale of endometriosis Born that of sickness,
Can't stand, can't walk But no one listens to my talk
The pains so great, But all I get is hate
I had me a son though Little did I know,
He would be all I had As I write on this pad
A tale of hell No one believed id fell
Through pain love and misery Yeah you're hearing my history
A life of pain, Also a life of gain ...

Endometriosis
Endometriosis
No one knows about it,
Just call it a psychosis
Because of the pain,
It drives you insane
Talk about a fate worse than death
Yeal it'll steal your breath,
Can't walk can't breathe
Hell I can't even sleep
Tires of the narcs
Tired of no relief
Maybe the drink will help
Hell maybe even some green
Lord I just need relief!!!
No one knows about it,

Twirl Around
Twirl around, fall down
Just a little girl dancing around
Daddy, dance with me
Forever, my hero you'll be
Hold my hand, hold me tight
Your hugs make everything alright
So little time in the day
Daddy, I don't mean to be in your way
Can't you see I just want time with you
you're what gets me through
Twirl around, fall down
Just a woman dancing around
Lost in the mind of a little girl
So much fun to twirl
Daddy, where are you?
Am I too much trouble for you?
Why don't you have time for me?
I know I'm not a little girl...

Daddy, dance with me
Forever, my hero you'll be
Hold my hand, hold me tight

Another year
Come and gone
Just can't sit
And sing for long,
All around me
Celebrating
But to me
Not one thing
As if that day

Wrap A Hug Tight
My childs lost
My son is gone
Every day is hard
Each night is long,
God my heart aches
Three years ended so quickly
Turned around and looked
And you were gone so abruptly.
Tore my heart from my soul
Yeah I was a zombie,
Try to focus on the positive
My son, you'll always be
My heart, my soul, my love,
Part of me in Heaven
I cry everynight
Can't I smile again?
I know that's all you'd want
Your love was undeniable
Think of your smile
My pain is unbearable
Send a hug down
Wrap it tight
Seal it with a kiss...
My son is gone

Light Extinguished
I follow through
But sometimes it doesn't work
A crater inside my soul
Ripped out a piece of my heart
Never thought Id see this day
Although Id never ask you to stay
The cries, the laughter
God is there even life after?
Yeah I hope so
Just to see your face again
Tormenting these nights have been
Without your smile
Your sweet innocence
You were only three
Stripped away from,
A light extinguished
A life gone
