Entangled
Darkened pools empty
into pools of light...
In the horizontal
throughout the night.
Heaven being found
within loving arms...
Breathlessly drowning
within those charms.
Gasping for air
between deep kisses...
Lost in your taste,
its so delicious.
Our hearts beating
at a torrid pace...
As shades of pleasure
cross your face.
Madly dripping sweat
from every pore..
As we give each other
all and more.
The odor and sounds
of lovemaking...
When all is given,...
into pools of light...

Strength of a Woman
A selfless heart asked
time and time again..
To give all that she is
until the end.
Heart so exhausted
almost giving in...
Loving and giving
all of herself to him.
Just asking and pleading
for some small sign...
That some of what's
given will return with time.
Just wanting to have
him whole once again...
Returned as he was
when they first began.
Remembering the passion
they once shared...
Remembering the depths
of how he cared.
Just wanting and wishing
upon...
time and time again..
To give all that she is
until the end.

Caught you walking in..
Burning with the look of sin.
Couldn't keep my eyes away...
Could watch you dance all day.
Eyes that could steal a soul..
Deep gazes that control.
Felt as though I'd seen you before,
Not too sure of much anymore.
I just know..I have to know you..
I just have to get the nerve to...
Just to walk over to your table..
Just get the nerve to be able...
To ask you out on the floor..
Maybe for a two step or more.
Quietly I sit, just building up my nerve.

Burned Memories
Just met.. Had not known
you long..
Jute box was playing our song..
70's top 40.. What could go wrong?
Smoke on the Water...
Had more in my lungs.
Stairway to Heaven...
Had missed a few rungs.
Long hair and hot pants..
Gave free love a chance.
Stayed high most of the day
smoking my worries away.
Peace and love not war...
that's what we worked for.
Loved those bell bottom pants.
All the drugs that kept me tranced.
Love lying naked with you;
only thing I ever liked to do.
That free love love wasn't free....
