Childhood bliss,
Hiding under blankets
In a dark night
Soon the covers would be taken
Just for spite.
Unknown to hate,
A small sprout
Sheltered by trees
I miss those days when we'd run around
as we pleased.
Childhood was forgiving,
Childhood was free.
Childhood was less than rent now for me.
Now it's all different
What colors?
They refract and bend.
It seems this harsh reality won't end.
What once was radiant,
is now grey
And the children are filled with dismay

Clearly
You clearly don't hold me
In an opinion as high as I to you.
You clearly don't care about me
As much as I do.
Then why is it so hard to accept
And push through?
All you know
Is the surface.
No one pretends
And everything is perfect.
I'm starting to realize
What you did was not okay.
It cut it deep, it can't be fixed
No matter what you say.
I still care immensely
And I know you don't

House of Cards
I used to think
That it couldn't stand
not my house of cards.
But lady luck has changed my hand
This game might be different, in my regards.
I used to think that
it was fragile,
The smallest of things
Even then, none could reconcile.
That it could be so easily broken,
and warped past recognizing.
All of the suites would fall away,
When we were too busy sympathizing.
But the cards weren't bent
and the money I lent
helps to pay the Joker's rent
So let's go all in now.
The house hasn't...

Land of The Moon Shadows
I'm in my bedroom
Unwilling to sleep
An something wakes inside
ancient primordial
Shout, a plea.
I glance at my window
The pull is stronger there.
I need an escape
From life's future wears.
I slip on some shoes
The colors melt.
I step outside,
The cards yet to be delt.
Each diamond,
Too prettily crafted
For human eye.
But I get to see,
Them all
In the sky
Shining
Like the colors of you.
Colors of everyone
Of everything

Can't stop thinking about you.

Spun out of greed.

To All The People I've Known Before
I've got to know some people, they're nice.
Made a few friends once or twice.
But years they keep on fading
And my life just goes on changing.
The years they kept on slipping past.
The friends I made, they never last.
I had to push them further away
For my future, they couldn't stay.
But does future come in front of

I wish I could look back
And see them once more

Uncertain Path
The uncertainty
Making it hard to see
Through the darkness
How can it be?
It's cloudy
My future, I mean.
I'm worried
I'll never achieve what I can be.
I know it's
Not set in stone.
And that's what worries
Me so.
I want it badly,
More than I could ever know.
Then why is it so hard
To find a way to go?
To go to my future,
my rightful place.
To find all the hardships
