Restroom Jingle
Restroom Jingle
Please don't talk on your cell phone
when you're takin' a leak.
We're just standin' here a peein'.
None of us wanna hear about your week.
Does the person on the other end,
do they really wanna hear
a buncha pissin', fartin', flushin'.
Is it comin' through now loud and clear?
If you can't keep off your cell phone
to do a little number two
now fella, I know I've got my own problems
but there's somethin' really wrong with you.
This is a place of privacy.

Calling About Tuesday
I hung up on him twice
but he kept right on calling
all through the night till the sun
began to rise.
'Rrrring Rrrring Rrrring Rrring!'
“Won't you please leave me alone!”
'Rrrring Rrrring Rrrring Rrrring!'
From the telephone.
I unplugged the phone from the wall.
Still it would ring!
I threw it against the wall
shattering the thing!
I went out for a walk to relax, clear my mind.
The park near my home always my place
to get away from it all for a while.

La La Land
La La Land
I am in La La Land and I do not care.
Here in La La Land everything is fair.
I do not worry 'bout no money.
I do not need a car.
Here in La La Land nothing is very far.
I met a man here too.
Said he has been here for years.
He is a lookin' for you.
So we have been here waitin',
sometimes lookin' around
but so fare you are nowhere to be found.
You should come here though,
place is really nice.
Weird how it's operated by a couple'a mice.
Housin's a good deal.
Place is rent...

Impossibility
Impossibility
I have always felt that I were strong.
My heart would be able to dismiss
the warmth once found within your arms.
The deliciousness of your sweet kiss.
I have always felt I do not need this.
I could turn my heart to stone
and that I would always make it
living a life all alone.
But every time you somehow sneak in
and I am with you if in dreams
and being with you life is better
than the way my life now seems.
Still I want to go back where I was
and re-build my wall,
it does not stay,...

Wishes and Dreams
Wishes and Dreams
We all have wishes and dreams and mine are of you
although there will not be a time when those wishes
and dreams will come true.
And so I name you a star in that heavenly night
but not the typical star one that is phenomenally bright
because that is how you are to me and though I will not share
this with you it is still how it shall be.
Wish.....Wish.....wish wishing upon a star.
So far away I wonder how you are.
Are you okay?
Are you happy?
I wish you these things.
I hope...

“Here it is Lyle,” Gary said handing him the picture. Lyle reached up from the hospital bed and
winced. The pain was excruciating.
“Who is she?” Gary asked. “I know I've seen her somewhere.”
“She's special,” Lyle said, looking into her crystal blue eyes smiling a little.
“Do you know her?” Gary asked.

"Light...Hovers"
"Light...Hovers"
Light...hovers.
An obtuse rectangle in the sky.
People crane back their heads,
looking, wondering, maybe even weeping.
Some asking, waiting for a reply.
Light...hovers.
Twisting...turning...melding.
A different shape to all who choose to view.
Ingrained into the deepest self.
What could, what should, what did/I didn't do?
I look in consternation.
Images shaping for me high above.
I see the past as I have learned,
lessons strangled by said glove.
Light...hovers. ...

Rainbow
Rainbow
We have a rainbow between us,
you and I.
And though you may be unable to see it
I can spot it with my eye.
There is so much color,
beautiful and true!
And it is a triple rainbow!
No. Not just a single one.
At the other end, my pot of gold.
At the other end maybe you.
Maybe this is just a dream
from which I do not want to awaken.
I only know you in dreams this way.
My god, my heart you have taken!
Is this rainbow somehow in your world?
Would you spot it if you tried

The Mattress Bleeds”
One more down with more to go.
This woman in my bed.
A night of such incredible lust.
The mattress must be fed.
I will come to you.
You will come to me.
Let us drink and chat a while.
You are sure to become inebriated
and that gives me a smile.
Let me take you home tonight.
Let us make love and then soon sleep.
Come morning brings you breakfast in bed
then I will watch you scream and weep.
Soon you are shackled in my bed.

"Skating On Porcelain"
Skating On Porcelain”
Sometimes I like the way
the carpeting feels on bare feet.
Other times I walk barefoot in the parking lot
not caring if I get cut.
Outside, at night, the moon has a ring
and the constellations fight for ultimate supremacy.
To the right, a flickering light,
most likely a candle.
The flame dancing around.
It makes me think of you.
My flame.
Now I skate on porcelain anymore with you
looking down on me.
You and that delicious smile.
I circle 'round and 'round and...

Dork”
Dork from planet “Dorkus” is traveling through space.
He is dodging many asteroids to come visit this place.
Dork's ship is zipping past planets going warp factor nine.
Earth is coming into view.
Dork is making a beeline.
But why is the “Dork” coming? What does he have on his mind?
A “Dorkus” coming to our home? We better hope that he is kind.
NASA has him now on radar. They say that soon he will be in view.
All around people are wondering just what the hell they should do!
Soon NASA will have a visual of...

She's Hollow
She's Hollow”
Her first thought was then to pull out his left eye
with him screaming and clawing,
with him crying out “Why!!”
Her blank, hollow stare.
The blood beginning to flow.
He chained to a table with nowhere to go.
She then took the right arm amid heavy blood spatter
and then took the left, by now what did it matter?
He lashing and pleading,
“Honey, won't you please stop!!!”
So she took both his feet with a Chop! Chop! Chop! Chop!
We might ask of her reasons or is she just mad?
Slowly...
