We're done
We're through
Just leave
Like you do
I hate being the one you run back to
I am more than just a statue
I have a heart
Thanks to you it's broke
Leave me be
Before I choke
What we had is gone
Now go away
I can't stand
All this disarray
We're over
We're past
You hated me
This would never last
You took me for granted every day
Now it's time for you to pay
We're through

Dream
They dance as the rain falls
They kiss under the moonlight
no one see’s for there is a wall
that blocks this fateful night
Everyone longs for this dream
in hopes it will come true
They want the shining gleam
but for now they wait for a clue
They gaze into each other’s eyes
not saying a word
letting the sun rise
listening to the birds
Thinking about this
makes people say
they need this bliss
so they can get away

Death is a word no one speaks
for fear it will catch them and they will shriek
screaming “not yet!” although it is time
to pay for their devilish crime
No one knows what happens after this

I fell into a dark hole
wondering how to get out
it’s weird
the things you learn
the people you miss
the things you appreciate
the places you wish to go
the sites you want to see
the ones that make you smile
and who you wish to be
it’s strange
what goes through the mind
when it thinks about all
that's happened in its time
wondering what will happen next
then you see a way out
and you think to yourself
what is life really about
wondering how to get out
