POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
She's my perfect distraction
She's my perfect distraction,
My muse, my friend, my guiding star
Who always pulls me in the right direction
I can't stand it when she's away, so far.
She's my perfect distraction,
It takes only one word of her mouth
Suddenly, I feel satisfaction
Because I'm with the girl I can't live without.
She's my perfect distraction,
there's not the slightest doubt
that she is my saviour in action
She, who chases away every cloud.
My muse, my friend, my guiding star
Who always pulls me in the right direction
I can't stand it when she's away, so far.
She's my perfect distraction,
It takes only one word of her mouth
Suddenly, I feel satisfaction
Because I'm with the girl I can't live without.
She's my perfect distraction,
there's not the slightest doubt
that she is my saviour in action
She, who chases away every cloud.

I couldn't help but fall in love
I couldn’t help but fall in love.
Hair, as brown as autumn leaves,
face, hands as fair as the fairest dove.
Oh, how I wish she never leaves.
She stole my heart, yet I always believe,
my muse. Inspiring every verse and strophe.
Of her I dream at summer eves.
I couldn’t help but fall in love.

Oh, how I wish she never leaves.
She stole my heart, yet I always believe,

Of her I dream at summer eves.
I couldn’t help but fall in love.

A summer's breeze
A summer’s breeze stirred his golden hair.
‘My master, beloved master,’ whispered against skin.
‘Amadeo, you, of all the boys, posses beauty and flair.
Remember your lessons and light the fire within.’
‘Master oh master, God of Love, forever young!’
A boy, covered in velvet, silk and lace.
‘Do what you must or I can’t go on!’
Lips replaced by teeth, yet tenderness stays.
The sensation of soaring and falling,
yet being held close by strong arms.
Moaned names: love, jewel, darling
and blood red liquid that the body warms.

I am who I am
I am who I am,
and nobody is going to change that,
not today, not tomorrow,
never.
I'm born to be free and wild.
I want to live.
Is that so difficult?
Some people say it is,
but I think they are wrong.
The only thing in my head is:
'let me free'
Most people don't understand that feeling,
but I don't care.
It is MY feeling,
and I think it'll never change.
It's too deep in my heart to change.
so
let me free
and nobody is going to change that,
not today, not tomorrow,
never.
I'm born to be free and wild.
I want to live.
Is that so difficult?

The Promised Land
I didn’t know why I had to come to this place
Dimly lit cushions, a chest filled with feathers and lace
A paradise for boys like me, witty but always pretty
Heaven on earth, the promised land, hidden in the city
I didn’t know, yet here I was lying
Thinking about roses, slowly dying
Lost – yet far too happy- in a sea of sensation
Not caring anymore, giving in to temptation
Dimly lit cushions, a chest filled with feathers and lace
A paradise for boys like me, witty but always pretty
Heaven on earth, the promised land, hidden in the city
I didn’t know, yet here I was lying
Thinking about roses, slowly dying
Lost – yet far too happy- in a sea of sensation
Not caring anymore, giving in to temptation

Although
Although I don't say it
I miss you
Although you don't know it
It's true
Although I don't want it
I feel it
Although I shouldn't
I do
But I can never say
I love you
I miss you
Although you don't know it
It's true
Although I don't want it
I feel it
Although I shouldn't
I do
But I can never say
I love you

Guild
Guild.
Pain.
Fear.
Creeping up behind me
Following me
Always,
Stalking me.
Closing in around me.
Never giving up,
after all these years.
Close.
Closer.
So close.
Guild.
Unexpected and yet
expected.
Always close.
Always right there.
Behind me,
but also right before.
Creeping closer.
Closer and closer.
Reaching for my throat.
Strangling.
Attacking.
Killing.
Pain.
Fear.
Creeping up behind me
Following me
Always,
Stalking me.
Closing in around me.
Never giving up,
after all these years.
Close.
Closer.
So close.
Guild.
Unexpected and yet
expected.
Always close.
Always right there.
Behind me,
but also right before.
Creeping closer.
Closer and closer.
Reaching for my throat.
Strangling.
Attacking.
Killing.

On the riverbank
On the riverbank he dreams
Not knowing yet where it might lead
A pale hand strokes his golden curls
Rose red lips, his sun-kissed neck
‘my love’ whispered, breathed in his ear
A beautiful morning in spring
On the riverbank he dreams
Knowing now where it might lead
Kissing, touching, stroking, loving
Time stops and yet it flies
Rose petals slowly falling
A hot morning in spring
On the riverbank he dreams
Remembering where things may lead
Soaring, floating, rising, falling
over the water and between the clouds
soft lips...
Not knowing yet where it might lead
A pale hand strokes his golden curls
Rose red lips, his sun-kissed neck
‘my love’ whispered, breathed in his ear
A beautiful morning in spring
On the riverbank he dreams
Knowing now where it might lead

To be free again
To be free again
Why do you keep hurting me?
Was it something I said?
Something I’ve done?
Even now, when I can’t see you
You’re still here
In this room, in my head, in my heart
How come, you can’t face me,
but also can’t leave,
Why are you gone?
but still here?
I know you are near
But yet I feel alone
If you had to close the door,
You could have left a window open,
But you didn’t
You shut me out your heart, out of your world
For you,
I no longer exist
And yet I feel
And yet I cry
But you do not...
Why do you keep hurting me?
Was it something I said?
Something I’ve done?
Even now, when I can’t see you
You’re still here
In this room, in my head, in my heart
How come, you can’t face me,
but also can’t leave,
Why are you gone?
but still here?
I know you are near
But yet I feel alone
If you had to close the door,
You could have left a window open,
But you didn’t
You shut me out your heart, out of your world
For you,
I no longer exist
And yet I feel
And yet I cry
But you do not...

vampire poetry
When somebody’s talking about the moon or so
I think of that night, now decades ago
It was your blood that kept me warm
When I wrapped you in my arms
I placed my mouth against your skin
I felt the blood within
Since that night you are like me
What you’ll hear and see
Will take place during the night
When the stars are shining bright
I think of who you’ll forever be
Side by side with me
I think of that night, now decades ago
It was your blood that kept me warm
When I wrapped you in my arms
I placed my mouth against your skin
I felt the blood within
Since that night you are like me
What you’ll hear and see
Will take place during the night
When the stars are shining bright
I think of who you’ll forever be
Side by side with me

Descendants of darkness
Descendants of darkness
Sons of the night
Somehow I lost my happiness
And I’ll never again see sunlight
But somewhere in this darkness
I see a light shine through
It’s a sparkle of the brightness
Of my love for you
Sons of the night
Somehow I lost my happiness
And I’ll never again see sunlight
But somewhere in this darkness
I see a light shine through
It’s a sparkle of the brightness
Of my love for you
