POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
It all goes in cycles; I just hitch a ride from phase to phase.
Consumption
Sesame seeds one by one
.6 calories a piece.
Ten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
And none in between.
Counting and counting,
Focal point of her life.
Do you know what
She's consuming with each bite?
That innocent snack
Wrecked her digestive tract.
Caused ten more tears.
Six more scars.
She noticed she bled less
As the weeks went on;
She noticed she couldn't rest
As the night bird sang his song.
She thought about the food she was deprived of;
And how the cravings used to make her drool.
No longer did...

Cold
I set the candles ablaze with my last match.
I cranked the electric heater way up.
I broke the seal on the E&J VSOP
And I drank.
I tossed back the carmel colored fluid
In hopes that it would become magic serum.
I huddled right next to the heater,
And wished my chills away.
Since the heater nor the flame cured my shakes,
I drank.
I tossed back another mouthful and my eyes watered,
My stomach fluttered.
It took so much to get that effect.
It saddened my numb self that the butterflies died so quick.

Blind Eye
There was no realization of the abrasions;
No elaboration on the lacerations.
This led to emotional separation,
The stagnation,
Pain evaporation.
Rationalization was out of the equation.
It was time for preparation.
Incarceration evasion.
Exploitation is now the vocation;
The vocalization of exaggeration
Will be the obliteration of every nation.

Dwelling
After dissection I'm still standing, unenlightened.
Though time has passed, I am still frantic.
Each night and each day and each minute of most hours
I farther pry into the abrupt ending of you and I.
It's been a year, for it is March again.
Have the legal expeditions been suspended?
I do truly apologize for the legal trouble-
It was not my option, nor my will.
Viewing past everything technical,
I still dwell relentlessly on how we were- as we.
I can't comprehend what attracted me towards you,
Nor what attracted you towards me.

Bad News
A horn from my eyebrow,
A stick in my tongue,
Seventeen spikes in my ears,
My nose adorned with a stud.
I'm bad news.
I lock eyes for hours
Waiting for the other to cower.
I aim to intimidate,
And then smile and wink.
I'm bad news.
When I talk I enunciate with my lips,
I grab attention by swinging my hips,
I walk like minds are my runway;
Two steps ahead, they just can't look away.
I'm bad news.
Deep inside I scream for love,
I beg for kisses and hugs.
But all that I show is me on my thrown; ...
A stick in my tongue,
Seventeen spikes in my ears,
My nose adorned with a stud.
I'm bad news.

Since Conception
Sneezes and snot upon tree tops,
Blood and boogers on branches.
Sweat and scars run the length of the bark,
And wretched saliva turns rancid.
Ill intentions invest in roots,
Poor decisions implanted.
A bad beginning for the embryo,
And blame be placed on the parents.

Colorful Cloud
Dancing merrily along the walk
Was a girl swinging a pail of chalk.
She drew her flowers with petals of pastel pink,
And only happy thoughts her little mind did think.
She swung her pail and pranced along;
She skipped and sung to an elementary song.
"Tulips and roses may smell mighty fine,
But they surely can't taste better than Mom's Apple pie."
The young lass's big brown eyes
Shimmered with hope and ignorance of lies.
Envious of her bliss and her childhood fun
My thoughts in head, like a Ferris Wheel, spun.

Suppressed Again
She rested companionless,
Her breathing was depthless.
Yet, she didn't feel helpless,
She just felt oppressed.
To the heavily looming air she confessed
That she felt enraged and depressed;
She took a blade to her wrist, but regressed.
And, again, stood up and let her emotions be suppressed.
Her breathing was depthless.
Yet, she didn't feel helpless,
She just felt oppressed.

Whip
Lashing my back,
Arching in pleasure.
He's taking it serious,
Extreme measures.
Down cracks a whip
Causing me to drip.
He purrs and strokes
And stokes my fire with pokes.
With a tongue
Like an extinguisher
He licks at my spark.
Down again cracks the whip,
I inhale so sharp.
Arching in pleasure.
He's taking it serious,
Extreme measures.

Wet
Steam radiating from my flesh,
Droplets running over my breasts;
My bare body simply waiting for caress.
Dancing sensually in my stall,
Hips swaying and grazing the wall.
My body is singing the lovers' call.
Can you hear it?
The seductress's spirit.
All weak men fear it.
Real men love the vicosity of the motion.
I move across the skin silkily as lotion.
My legs divide and between them lay the quotient.
The fluidity is quite potent.
I let my fingers entwine above my head.
Up and down my body your entranced eyes are...
Droplets running over my breasts;
My bare body simply waiting for caress.
Dancing sensually in my stall,

Surely It's Not
Dear Owl in the tree,
what do you love?
Surely it's not me.
Dear Snake guarding the ground,
What do you love?
Surely it's not sound.
Dear Bear respectively lurking,
What do you love?
Surely you are still searching.
Dear Insect, hated by all,
What do you love?
Surely it's not crawling on walls.
Dear Mind deep in thought,
What do you love?
Surely it's not things that rot.
what do you love?
Surely it's not me.
Dear Snake guarding the ground,
What do you love?
Surely it's not sound.
