voices screaming ''coward''
its awkward
in the course
of moving
forward
i found myself
stucked
am sitting
wondering
if am backward
flashes of skeptic thoughts
wondering what life worth
like a phrase i feel incomplete
i can feel depression
hijacking my obsession
my passion
when i feel weak within
my daily
routine
seems like a heavy task
regardless
like a bird with broken
wings
i vie to fly
its awkward
in the course
of moving
forward
i found myself

wondering

Do you know that
after a good day
I still feel empty
When it feels like
I've got all I want
Happy
Satisfied
Emptiness
Here it comes
It strikes me
down
Each day
This emptiness
Comes like
A nuisance
I will commend you
For a Job well done
If you were to be my
Employee
You never fail to carry
Out your duty
Be it early morning
On bed
Night before I go to
Sleep
You always come to
Remind me
How empty I am
How empty I feel.

crowd in your circle
no more

Night
In darkness
I lie in bed
as the fresh
breeze blows through
my window satisfying
my skin
unsteady sound
waves of the chirping
crickets blend with
fading echo of cars
on a busy road
At this time
All heads lie
in bed performing
their daily ritual for
renewal of mind
renewal of strength
I spend much
time looking
through my
window
meditating
on the moon
for mind cleansing.
I lie in bed

I feel empty and
Cold
Love is an illusion
I was disappointed
When I was told
I've gone too far
I chose the
right path. No you
Can't tell me to make
a u-turn.
Irrespective of our
Ideologies our hearts
Blended. Loved each
Other till we became
Addicted
How can
Someone dictate who
We should love
I was disappointed
When I was told
Love only exist
In fairytales.
I feel ashamed
Cause am close to
Believing love is an
Illusion. Ashamed
Of my unborn promises

I would tease her saying
So when will I see your other
Twin ( literary they weren't twins)
Sooner is what she said
But what fate had in store
She never knew neither
did i.
As I lay my head to sleep
Each morning came with
Intense curiosity.
A young soul.
A charming beauty.
Dreams unfulfilled.
My curiosity been
Brought to fullstop.
Your departure was
a shock.
Men cry in their heart.
You left me a picture
of you in my memory
to console me.
