Do you know that
after a good day
I still feel empty
When it feels like
I've got all I want
Happy
Satisfied
Emptiness
Here it comes
It strikes me
down
Each day
This emptiness
Comes like
A nuisance
I will commend you
For a Job well done
If you were to be my
Employee
You never fail to carry
Out your duty
Be it early morning
On bed
Night before I go to
Sleep
You always come to
Remind me

Very nice to express "Emptiness". It almost made me shed tears...I felt the emptiness all the time before, but now I can write....no time to feel it....

Many (myself included) edit their work based on hindsight inspiration.
Poetry is fluent, changing, and not written in stone.
If a poet feels editing improves the piece, then do so.
Good writers always look for ways to enhance their work.
