Whispers In The Night
Bend back across the spectrum
Just to live it all again
The pain in my spine
Is worth my toleration
It pales in comparison
To the anguish I resist
The longing, the fiending
For anything like this
I can feel your touch
I can see the river shine
I can taste your kiss, and I

Roses may be red
And violets may be blue

Shine brighter than any hue
Her hair may be dark
And her hair may be light

Is a marvelous sight
Many eyes are green
And other eyes may be brown

One's lips may be chapped and cracked
