Poet Introduction
Saying of the day: "live your life"
Six-Hundred Feet
I'm flying at six-hundred in the air
Now watching the cities without a care
I feel the stars on my skin tonight
Burning as they scar me with their holy light
I am the broken son of a forgotten moon in a second life
I am the bliss of the pain from the tales of a beaten wife
Here I soar in in the night crowds
Hear me scream from summer clouds
Six-hundred feet in the nights frosted skies
Six-hundred feet above the ants and their fruitless tries
I'm colored with fire
As I exhale remains of dreams and desire
Six-hundred feet I watch starved...

Mountain Climbers
I never
Asked for the perfect life
Nor flawless plans
It was the struggle
That has always
Always
Been what kept me alive.
I never asked
Nor fought
For more than the next meal
Or smile.
Running round
And round
Again
In my own twisted mind
I scrape
And I chisel
The lost thoughts
From now abandoned mines
Of inspiration
Of desire
That cover my mind.
Chipping off thoughts,
Ideas,
Lyrics,
And melodies
As metals
To mold as tools
For the journey
An adventure

Play Me A Song
As they drift by, watch the songs.
Magical nights end our mystical days.
Melody that concur the worlds wrongs,
Rhythm to which our lives trebles and sways.
It's a core belonging we find in the words that rain.
Dancing dizzily till your heart is as light as your head.
Breathe in lyrics to erase memory's tainted in sorrow's pain.
listen for the notes tainted with peace instead.
As a smiles memory sings of the now forgotten joys.
Wipe away your mistakes like dust upon abandoned piano keys.

Morning Love
Five in the morning, I pull out of bed.
I scramble in an awkward state to my phone.
Chilled air waves dreams lazily from my head.
Five-Fifteen, your voice proves I'm not alone.
Six-thirty in the morning, I'm still not dressed.
Panic strikes me as I strip of my simple night wear.
Rushing like this I may leave everyone unimpressed.
Six-Forty Five, catch the bus and want you there.
Seven in the morning, now I'm almost to school.
Drowsy and groggy I plan my entire day out.
Ponder then, if I'll ever live by my own rule. ...

The Lost Daughter
I wonder if you watched as I walked away.
I'll never know.
Like a fool.
Like a
Heart
Broken
Fool,
I didn't look back.
Well not that day anyway.
I walked away trying not to laugh,
smirk,
cheer.
...
March.
Step.
Step.
March.
I know you called my name.
I heard your voice
from across the street,
chipper
and almost hopeful.
Over joyed
at just the thought
of seeing her child.
"Mandy!"
I could feel the warm smile,
the gentle eyes
as they focused on my back, ...
I'll never know.

You May
I've come to see that not everyone is a hero.
I noticed that not everyone will fight for me.
You may think I'm stupid, asked dumbfounded "Oh. NOW you know?"
You may look at me, and question me, and ponder if it's a perfect world I see.
I've been watching the humans that litter my life.
I started to hear something different come from their throats.
You may glance away with the shame like that of an immoral wife.
You may perk and listen for their new and twisted melody's notes.
I've seen laughter mated with occasions of cruelty and horror. ...

Color the Storm
Color the sky red, paint the stars blue,
melt the wax to the grass mix the hues in blushes of
purple and screams of neon green. Flash lightning by yellows
and blacks to the chalky grey. Let rain tumble and
pour neon rose, glowing teal, and orange burnt
dark and brown as shadows drape every tree. Shining and
shading pine green and florescent pink branches cover the
now golden and auburn sky, making shadows the light of the dark.
Puddles of sun drop golden rod lay by the fallen and charred maroon
and bubblegum...

Help Me
I知 strong.
I知 the wall you can rely on to hold you up.
Seemingly unbreakable,
I stand.
Leveled and sturdy,
I hold.
I知 brave.
I知 the reassuring words you recite to keep on.
Seemingly fearless,
I walk.
Calm and patient,
I move.
I知 determined.
I知 the challenge you cast out to the world.
Seemingly confident,
I push.
Fixated and powerful,
I fight.
I知 kind.
I知 the warmth you feel on your face.
Seemingly sanguine,
I try.
Heartened and cordial,
I assuage.
Yet,...

Little Glass Doll
You're beautiful,
And small. Strong but fragile,
Like a little glass doll.
You're perfect.
But...
Then someone took you,
And couldn't treat you right.
They left you
to endure harsh weather,
Rain that spoiled your dress,
And ice that chips your face.
They pulled you roughly around
and dragged you down.
They threw and neglect you about.
Using liars love
To shove out your doubt.
You little glass doll,
Battered and chipped,
Finally broke and ripped.
They left you shattered and confused
Probably...

Riddle
When a riddle a day, is a game that we play, I'm sure to be lost! When never sure what to say, I let the puzzle get in my way. To win the game at what cost? When I've my patience to pay, I find the puzzle was not worth the play. I'd much rather I lost

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
If you need me, just tell me where and when.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
Don't you know you are always mine?
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Come on now, please don't make me wait.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
Together we'll rule, though hell or heaven.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
Hate breaks down, love can fix.
One, two, three, four, five.
In love then we strive.
One, two, three, four.
To go for more.
One, two,...

Love is glass
Love is a tool in life. It's a perception. Love is glass. it's transparent and sharp. Love is the window you look through to see your goals end and futures fantasies. It's the delicate blade that severs hate and fear from your mind. Love is a double edged sword. Where the window is there to show you what lays beyond the hell you live in, the more you lean in the more your desperate breath fogs and confuses the image. Where the handy blade releases you of unpleasant truths, it blinds you you of necessary evils. blinds you from the gaps and voids of evil around you. blinds you until you must...
