Trade places with me
And you shall see why I don't like
what I see
Try wearing my shoes
Put yourself in my skin
Look through these eyes
Feel this pain
Keep your head held high
Hide your tears
Say it's okay
When everything seems so unreal
And makes you want to scream
Put on your fake smile
Which hides all that's unseen
Walk through my life
Not sure who you are
Feeling the weight of the world
Running from the truth
Can you see
Love beyond reach
Heart broken unrepair

TRAPPED
don't want to dwell on the past, the present or the future
all the pain of years of memories, broken dreams, empty promises
a taste of what could have been what would have been
when my world finally stood still.
I close my eyes and sink deep within myself
the emptiness, the loneliness, the confusion and the fears
that has drowned me in life misery
as it pulled me into the black hole of death.

BROKEN
tears of blood running down her face
wrists tore open by rope
back bruised by his hands
legs broken bind together
another lost the broken soul
pass the bullet, please
she begs with her swollen eyes
for death to do us apart
she doesn't want to breathe
she no longer has that will to live
in this shallow world
that has broken her into many pieces
scatter across the plains
discarded like trash
bind for life death she welcomes
but he dares not come
she has not suffered enough
to endure the pleasure of death hands.

Its you I still believe. With every breathe that I take.
Since the day we meet and I looked into your eyes.
I saw a life I had shared once a long time ago.
Someone I had loved before God created the world.
Our soul has connected in the Ancient of time.
I shall give all that is me with you openly
and willingly.
I will not lie or deny you of any truth about me
or how I may feel. I will give all on to you.
I will not share my mind, body or soul with no
other for you have the key to loving me.

The Lost
thy heart cold as ice
chilled by pain and despair
all that once was dear
has perish within darkness.
Deep into the soul
cry a young child
whom grew into a woman
deceive by empty promises
heartbroken and cast.
She now stand a hollow being
searching for the fire
that once burn
the desire of life
she so cherish
searching for
what was once her.
All that has come and gone
eats away at her.
Driving her deeper
into the abyss
she has made for herself.
Then a light
no matter how small

Breathless as she run through the light. Tears running down her face like a fierce storm. Wait, wait, she scream with a hoarse voice. Wait, wait please wait as she travel through the light. Please son don't go not before me, not before me. She ran even faster and the closer she got the farther away he seem. Son please stop do not go she stumble and fell. Fifteen years my dear
Our heart has beat in one rhythm
This love has danced beyond many stars.
I wonder how this came to be
the love you have given to me so freely.
My sweet husband you never complain
you just love me unconditionally.

When times were hard we had no where to go

Pen and Paper
I never thought of myself as poet or a writer. I was so afraid at times of being myself the only way to express how I felt was pen and paper, All my friends I loved so dear arrange from goth to rock to just plain strange, but they excepted me when other judge me, label me weird. Instead of crying those painful tears I just wrote down all my fears. I kept my disappointment, heartbreaks, joy on paper just for me. My Uncle was a preacher and he said to my Mom if she did not write she would go insane. I never shared how I felt to him but my Uncle always knew. For me writing was my outlet if I did...

Here I am here I am lost in thoughts
not knowing were to go
my mind wondering over past events
to the present grief
wondering what the future might be.
I never in life have felt so much pain
as I have felt since your death
I have question many things
about how I have handle raising you.
Is it because of me that you were so lost
that you became caught up in this messy world.
Did I not love you enough
to protect you from worldly goods.
I thought I knew all the answer once
but it was so hard raising a son
I had to be a mother, a father...
