Angels We Are Not
Angels we are not
In fire we are born
Demons in disguise we are caught
In this world we are torn
False truths we are taught
Into society we are sworn
Individuality we have lost
In life we no longer morn
We didn't know the cost
Fake lives we all adore
In society's net we are caught
Locked in an endless war
Fallen angels are shot
They beg and ask for more
In this home we all rot
This emblem we all wore
Insignificant we are just a dot
In this land of mine and yours
We reside inside this kind of lot
Locked inside we see...

You are
Do you ever feel
Like the world is falling apart?
The shadows rise and demand your demise
Life's pressures rest on your mind
You look around only to find that you are blind
Walls can tend to fall
But just crawl through the debris
You don't need to see to be free
Held down by your enemies
They may have the upper hand
But only you know this land
Hold on to your hands
Raise them high
True salvation lies inside
Reside inside those damned walls
Seas of water tend to drown
Waves can topple towers
Just try to swim...

Deaths Retreat
Death leads me to bed
Broken we never mend
We cut and we bleed
This knife is always thirsty
It needs to feed
Silver light above
Raise my hands

The dark inside
In black we are blind
Vision limited
We cannot find
This cell is our confine
We live in our minds
Eyes alone see
With our lungs we breathe
Take a breath
Feeling the heart bleed
Blood runs in you veins
Only you know the pain
The scars hold memories
Memories slowly recede
In the end the pain will cease
In your pain you will...

A walk in insomia
A walk in insomnia
a garden devoid of sleep
where lost souls go to weep
endless darkness
filling the night
but sleep comes not
till the break of dawn
the early morning light
brings with it the beginning of another day
walking in a dream
feelings rushing over
brought by some unknown wind
lost, confused
a walk in insomnia
is a lifetime in eternity
for the nightmares never end.

Lies are disguised as truths
monsters seeking our demise
to take our lives
filthy animals we are
locked in a cage
bars made of rage
we are stuck on a stage
our victims the audience
our actions the judge, the jury
its time we pay for our crimes
to be locked in a cell
of our own creation
we tell ourselves
that we are the good ones
they the bad
its awfully sad
how when we’re mad
we harm with our “innocent” hands
made of sin
lies make our skin
clothed in our greed
no wonder we are a lost breed
the last pure...
