A Deep Regret
A thousand tears I have cried and still I cannot push past your passing.
A million thoughts have crossed my mind about you and I and still you are in my head.
A bowl of tears and a bucket full of wishes that have been shed and that I have bled.
To keep your memory alive is killing me inside.
Not a day goes by when your pale face and brown eyes don’t pass through my mind.
Memories of you lying in my bed.
The movies we saw.
The things we witnessed.
The feel of your hair in my hands.
The silent promise of wedding bands.
A time cut short by a...

The Choices We Make
I don't know where to start.
I don't know where it ends.
I can't escape the pressing darkness.
While two lights tempt me.
Which one do I choose?
Each will save me.
Each will condemn me.
One will burn me
the other will freeze me.
I run from the darkness.
I run from my fate.
I dwell in the past
and I thrive on the hate.
It rips and it tears
At my weak and open heart.
I weep for what I had
I'm scared of what I have.
And terrified of what I want.
I let it go
But still it finds me.
I have found better ...

Morbid Musical
My years of life have taken me to many places and placed me in some
bizarre situations. And yet, through all my loves, all my losses, and
all my wishes the stairway keeps winding slowly upward before my eyes.
Taking me to new places and experiences.
Each new memory made
reminds me of old ones I had forgotten. Every new pain I take refreshes
old wounds I have once known to be closed. But only the memories of one
person paint a picture in my mind as solid and immovable as a mountain
ever time I see them.

Letter to a Friend
I lost a friend.
I lost some one I loved.
I lost many things when I lost you.
I miss you dearly I've nearly cried so many times I can't stand to count.
I miss you poorly.
I haven't kept in touch.
I know I haven't held up my end of the bargain.
I told you I'd never forget you and I haven't
I want you to know I miss you.
I want you to know that I need you.
I hope you know how much you meant to me.
I hope you see how hard it was for me to just watch you leave that night.

Dance of Roses
The darkness threatens to engulf me in its never ending embrace.
As I sit here and think of the past that I have tried to erase.
I cannot help but wonder what which of my demons will win the race.
Because age is the only thing keeping me from my saving grace.
And still I lay here and dream of her delicately beautiful face.
The eyes of an angel and the smile to match.
I cannot help but see that her and I are the perfect match.
Every time I see her my breath I need to catch.
Her wings open and she takes to the sky.

The Never Ending Shore
Everything I do
To put myself in your view
Seems to be in vain
As we follow the paths laid before us
I went through hell
With someone that I wished had meant well.
I was a fool when I didn’t listen
To you as I watched your eyes glisten with rage
At the person who had hurt me so.
I didn’t want to hear
The sheer truth of the words you spoke
Even though I felt my heart was being broke.
A friend showed me the other side of the page
And at first I couldn't see through the rage.
But now I’ve turned to a new page...

A Moonlit Summer Night
The moon shines like a single lonely star in the sky
Shining brightly and casting it's soft glow down on us
The midnight sky sparkles as our bodies come together as one
Moving together under the soft caress of moonlight.
With sweat running down your body
The gentle light sets you a glow
Each movement reflecting your passion
Each caress reflecting my love
Our bodies caught in the throughs of passion
Strengthen our love beyond that of mere compassion

The Darkness Still Resides
The darkness still resides
It lies deep down in my soul
Waiting to get a hold of me
Once more I lie in wait
Waiting for the darkness to over take me
The fear and doubt are embedded into my soul like nothing I have ever felt.
It resides there like a living, breathing, moving object that nothing can kill or fully extinguish.
I wait for it like a passenger waiting to board a train.
Only I am tied onto the tracks and nothing I do has any effect.
I am bound to a wall
Nothing can move me
My wrists and...
