POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
rose
rose, is my name,
red coats my exotic frame,
desired eyes burn in flames,
craftly cutting me to claim.
in his hands, i am placed,
wading inside a shallow vase,
admiration lingers upon his face,
as the sun captures my divine grace.
slowly his fingers begin to caress,
ample, silky, petals i possess,
foolishly mastering his devious finesse,
on a pedestal i stand, ready to impress.
he lifts my stem, hands clenched tight,
sliced by thorns wailing in fright,
downward i fall like a windless kite,
petals shed upon the plight....
red coats my exotic frame,
desired eyes burn in flames,
craftly cutting me to claim.
in his hands, i am placed,
wading inside a shallow vase,
admiration lingers upon his face,
as the sun captures my divine grace.

foolishly mastering his devious finesse,
on a pedestal i stand, ready to impress.
he lifts my stem, hands clenched tight,
sliced by thorns wailing in fright,
downward i fall like a windless kite,
petals shed upon the plight....

Laughter arises behind rotten teeth,
A foul air underneath his tongue,
Suffocating your taste,
Viciously fighting his embrace.
Independence is measured at man’s feet
No obligations but his own
Women shed their clothes
When he wants to feel at home.
Like Snow White’s apple
One bite invites death,
He lures a line
His hands fishing mine to intertwine.
What more do you want?
The roses have bloomed
And the sunset has fallen under my lips,
Red, orange, yellow blazes upon my kiss.
A foul air underneath his tongue,
Suffocating your taste,
Viciously fighting his embrace.
Independence is measured at man’s feet
No obligations but his own
Women shed their clothes
When he wants to feel at home.
Like Snow White’s apple
One bite invites death,
He lures a line
His hands fishing mine to intertwine.
What more do you want?
The roses have bloomed
And the sunset has fallen under my lips,
Red, orange, yellow blazes upon my kiss.
