The penny drops
The Penny Drops
My heart bleeds...a butchered goat...barely alive,fighting relentlessly.
Hard to hold onto...as it slips through countless hands.
The penny drops...but only one... for this week,fallen from lifes torn pocket
I think of my responsibilities on this day of honour...
Once again, I put on my already abused mask...for my family... for my children.
Lifes razors continue to etch its sadistic art on my face...time racing...a warhorse determined.
My children say that Im in their hearts but I know that Im excluded from their lives...a...

A vacuum of dispair...
not without love.
It darkens horizons,raging
against consequence with a
seemingly endless void
from above.
Visions, dreams and grey
thoughts.....they drug my
intentions.....my life.
Seeping into the souls connected...not only by
love ....but by strife.
What will it take to apprehend this thief of
the mind?...
This soul sucking monster,
my very gut it does grind.
Burried deep inside the vast
shimmerings of my being...
Something...blooming and ...

most of the time.
