POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION
With apologies to the Rolling Stones
Instead of taking a walk in the fresh air
I am stuck at work in my chair
Making out forms in triplicates
Sending memos to cover my ass
People say: get another job
Hey man, outside there is a mob
Who would kill for this menial work
Who live in alleys after dark
After work I go to the pub with my friends

WATER BORNE
Floating in water for nine months
Screaming with pain as we are ejected from the womb
Lustily sucking a breastful of milk
Our body still water hiding in cells
Brain has fluids which must be protected
Water cleansing for hygiene and baptism
Water is calling me as I think of the sea
Walking on sand surf is calming to me
When I get to the sea again
Maybe it will tell me how it will end.
Screaming with pain as we are ejected from the womb
Lustily sucking a breastful of milk
Our body still water hiding in cells
Brain has fluids which must be protected
Water cleansing for hygiene and baptism
Water is calling me as I think of the sea
Walking on sand surf is calming to me
When I get to the sea again
Maybe it will tell me how it will end.
