of the clock
fills our being

every second
falling further
our dreams
we whispered
to the universe
sharing the secrets

from others
until the sun
wakes up the rest
of the world
between the sighs

and exhales

find our way
back to each other

reveals her face
the darkness
casts its shadows
upon my scars
upon my brokenness
these feelings
I swallow down
like nails

why do I surrender
to the thoughts

doesn’t seem to move
and the clock
doesn’t seem to tick
not tonight
my soul
drips slowly
through my fingers
falling
down gently
like a summers rain
caressing my skin
the sweet scent
filling
my entire body
the darkness
carries me
into my dreams

take me
ever so gently
and ever so sweetly
