"Three Nights in the Heart of the Earth"
Crucified on Friday,
Christ rose on Sunday morning.
So he spent two nights in the tomb.
But he had been arrested Thursday night,
And taken to the basement
Of the High Priest's house(Luke 22.54).
He spent that night in the holding cell(a dungeon)
Which has been preserved to this day.
(I saw it in 1973 while on a tour of the Holy Land.)
So Christ spent three nights
below the surface of the ground:
(1)Thursday night in the holding cell
(while He awaited trial before
The High Priest serving as Judge),...

The Sun lighting Up the Sky is Like Arousal building to Orgasm.
At dawn only the lowest part of the sky lights up.
As the sun moves upward, higher and higher,
the whole heavens fill up with heat and light.
Likewise with female orgasm.

The Sun And the Moon Shine With the Same Light
Sunlight reflected by the moon becomes moonlight.
Christ, "the light of the world,"(John 8.12;9.5;12.46)
Is the radiant sun figure.
While the Church (the Christian community) is the moon.
We too are to be "the light of the world"(Matthew 5.14).
For we can all shine with borrowed light we get from Christ.
Like the moon reigns over and lights up the world at night,
Christians are to shine on mankind dwelling in sin's darkness,
By our bearing witness to Christ and by imitating His example.

Putting Away Childish Things
The Resurrection of Christ is recorded in Luke 24.5,15,31-43.
His Ascension is described in that same chapter(Lk 24.50-53),
Creating the false impression that the Ascension
Followed immediately after the Resurrection,
With no more than a day or two
Separating the Resurrection and the Ascension.
But in The Acts of the Apostles,chapter 1,verses 3-9,
The Ascension comes "40 days" after the Resurrection.

The Climbing of Trees by the Monkeys is Prophetic of Mankind Conquering Space
In the pristine rainforest
the monkeys ascend by climbing,
tree branch after towering tree branch,
Until they reach the top of the canopy of leaves.
(And see the Sun).
The monkeys represent mankind.
The heights of the canopy of greenery
Stand for the blue canopy of space,
The whole of the Milky Way galaxy.
As natural as it is for monkeys
To rule the enchanted rain forest,
Likewise, Man's logical destiny is
To reign over all the Milky Way.
It will take the next billion years or so.
But our...

The Holy Spirit is the HUSBAND Figure
In a family
A man plays 3 main roles:
Father,son and husband.
A man plays the son in one family,
But moves up to husband and father in a later family.
Likewise within the Holy Trinity,
There are:
God the Father,
God the Son,
And God the Holy Spirit.
You would think that the third person
would be, God the Husband,
In keeping with the 3 male roles
In the typical human family.
So, the Holy Spirit seems to be
set up to play the husband figure.
Sure enough, the Bible confirms this...

The Black Man And the Big Bang
If a black man's skin bears a faint likeness
To the total darkness that existed before the Big Bang,
And if the mouth on the head of his penis
is like the infinitesimal aperture
in the infinite cosmic emptiness,
(the "formless Void," Genesis 1.2),
From which shot forth in a single instant
The whole universe in the form of raw energy,

Moses Was Not A Murderer
Moses wasn't a murderer
When he killed a slave-driver(Exodus 2.11-12; Acts 7.24).
He did it because the slave-driver
was beating a Hebrew slave to(what would have been)death.
It's logical to make an example out of one slave
In order to make the others work harder.
So the slave-driver was the (would-be) murderer,
Not Moses - he was the deliverer(Acts 7.25).
The Germans who tried to assassinate Hitler
Weren't murderers.
Hitler was the murderer,
No, make that a mass-murderer.

Nazi Holocaust Predicted in the Bible
Ezekiel prophesied there would be
The valley of "dry bones"(Ezekiel 37.1).
They would morph into walking skeletons(Ez 37.7-10)
that would return to their ancestoral land(Ez 37.12)
and "become a mighty army"(Ez 37.10, KJV).
Let's forget about the morphing,
And keep the two groups separate.
(a)The "dry bones" would represent the Jews
that were killed, incinerated during the Holocaust.
(b)While the walking skeletons would refer to the survivors.
For when the concentration...

Child As Savior
Why be against abortion?
Because less violent - less destructive -
Alternatives are available.
Oral sex, for example.
(You can't get pregnant using your head.)
Wheat in nature comes in terms of kernels.
But we try to improve on it,
Turning it into bread, pasta, etc.
Likewise with sex and giving birth.
It can be thought of as mundane, ordinary
(After all, animals do it).
But religion and civilization try to lift it up,
turning it into something more glorious,even sacred. ...

Why Christ Died
When Christ whipped the money-changers
out of the temple courtyard
He quoted from Psalms 69.9:
"Zeal for Your House has eaten me up."
So that psalm is about Christ.
So the rest of the same verse should also apply to Christ,
"The reproaches of them that reproach You have fallen on me."
People hold things against God the Father,
They think He has let them down.
They feel He hasn't answered their prayers.
Or He has taken their wife prematurely, etc.

Don't Boil A Kid in Its Mother's Milk
The Law of Moses says it 3 times,
"Don't boil a kid(a baby goat) in its mother's milk"
(Exodus 23.19; Exodus 34.26; Deuteronomy 14.21).
Why 3 times? For emphasis.
Moses is telling us that this is important,
Especially so!
What does it mean? What is the message?
"Mother's milk" stands for the breast
from which it comes.
In turn, those breasts stand for
the reproductive system
Of which they are a part.
And the main part of that system is the womb.
Meanwhile, the "boiling of...
