That day was just like any day.
A ride would take the stress away.
We rode and rode,and felt so free.
The cornfields on both sides of me.
The air was hot,the breeze so cool.
I held my arms out like a fool.
You turned your head and said to me
This feels so good,I feel so free.
Your smile was ear to ear that day
It made me think things were ok.
If only I could make you feel
The love I felt for you was real.
When we got home I'd tell you then
I never want this love to end.
Down the road we flew and flew.
