Hold my hand
don't let me see those tears of rain.
don't let it drown you, just let yourself drown in our love. because in a world like this, it needs to exist.
my happiness is yours and boy you make me happy.
the world will fall in love with your hands the way I did, with the way they fit perfectly into mine; and
if only it could sneak kisses the way I do because when I kiss you,
it's like a natural disaster but in my heart.
I was told never to love a soul composed entirely of supernovas,
but you taste like a mouthful of constellations and I want to be the astronomer that...

fight after fight but the potential tops it all
rage after rage but the chemistry tops it all
inevitable connection
but we hurt one another
architects of our own destruction
arsonists to our own fires
fires we can't put out
no one can
not even the rain.

he used to be happy,
until his world fell apart
he used to be happy,
until everything broke his heart
painful days and nights
cigarette smoking them away
ask him what's wrong
says "I'm always okay"
I can see it in his eyes
the agonizing lies
look me in the eyes
baby, please don't cry..
keep thinking until I understand
trusting him
way more than I can

take those ashes and throw them away

alone
all my burdens,
heavy
weighing me down in this thing called life
where one can only imagine dreams becoming reality
picture.
picture perfect memories even heavier
to the point where I'm sinking
sinking in sorrow
drowning in regret
but what is it when you don't regret but if you could take back you would?
when happiness is given you don't take back
you embrace what is given and you enjoy
but what's to enjoy if you have no one to enjoy with
when I walk this dark, cold path no one walks with me but the black cloud above...

Cold Love
On a winter cold night
snow glistened
butterflies fluttered
hearts murmured softly
young love devours those who let it
our cold hands held each other's
and when he kissed me he swallowed my soul for his own
it was his

it was silent

wind through trees
rustling leaves
then he looked at me
I stared
his eyes twinkled as if he were about to cry
showing a reflection of the beautiful chalky white snow
he used to tell me if you stare at someone long enough, they cease to become real

A Beautiful Life
When the stars and the moon collide
you know you've angried the gods tonight
but is there a God if we all don't believe?
it could all be as simple as Adam and Eve
but Adam and Eve didn't fail to sin
now we're all in this world failing to commit
we go through pain and suffering for days
want to snap our fingers, make it all go away
everyone suffers the pain of love
sometimes it's not as beautiful as that white feathered dove -
shot and killed
but why we ask
why this, why that
we don't really know we just go along with it
some of us...

Terrified of you
rip me from the inside out
with no effort you tore me apart
I was fragile, naive
girl with a poorly bandaged heart
craved because it could easily be fixed

Angelic Devil
he kisses me and I can just taste his sins screaming in my mouth begging to be let out. he holds my face and when he looks at me I see the painful memories through his big brown eyes. I see a shattered soul destroyed and ripped apart piece by piece by those he cares about most and I can't let myself be another one of those people to him. so I kiss those sins away and put pleasant memories within him. take over his mind and make him happy. he smiles bright like a supernova filling not only himself with joy but also me.
