d r e a m e r
relishing in the fantasy world
or the hidden reality world
that lies inside of the cerebral headspace
all that i am
is all that i think
is all that i feel
is all that i conceive
conscious
craving the fleeting lucidity
that takes over the mind
in the darkness
when the physical body is still
and the mental realm awakens
and is alive
teeming with energy
exploding
visions
colors
sounds
a new world of infinite possibility
this is it
the true reality
i am in control...
or the hidden reality world
that lies inside of the cerebral headspace

is all that i feel

a new day
i woke up
a new day
a new burden
i lay here gazing at the ceiling
lying on my back
a new day
and i have just finished
a ravenous feat
i am heavy
weighed down
wondering whether to lie in my simple
agony
or to rise up and continue the fight
i listen to the sounds my body makes
trying to process the toxic fuel i pump into myself
day in and day out
my system can handle it now
but for how much longer
i don’t know whether to feel better or to feel worse
in this very moment
an empty wine bottle turned over on the...
a new day
a new burden

DRUGS POEM

D r u n k
Flooding into my system
pure serotonin
i sit back after this binge
a warm fuzzy feeling
to the brim
torso warm
face warm
engorged
filled up
the void
i gaze around
sunlight flooding into the windows
i sit in a cocoon
of numbness
faintly acknowledging my responsibilities
but focusing on the moment
intoxicated
pure beauty
no worries or time
admiring the life energy
the light cascading
through the clouds overhead
it is fading
as i surely will
the glow will end
but for now i savor every bit of it...
pure serotonin

the pain
its surges through me
i know that i am currently in this state
a state of dismay
i feel like i am bursting at the seems
i am divine
i am a gorgeous creature of light
of beauty
of mystery
and suffering
and must break through
enough is enough
i am a master piece
my being cries out to be let free
to be appreciated
to be loved
and admired
and adored for centuries
i am vibrating at a low frequency
and no one takes notice
and i am surrounded by no one
i am alone
no praise
no love
and...
its surges through me
i know that i am currently in this state
a state of dismay

C r a v i n g
i just want
i crave
i need
to be
an absolute vision of beauty
to not only others
but to myself
i want to be desired
to loved
and craved
i want others to be in awe
and drink me in
my beauty
my being
everything
in this lifetime
i will become this
before i pass
before i die
before i exit
this vehicle that i occupy
i will become an art piece
a masterpiece
a true work of art.

to be
