FAREWELL FUCK
Early morning, without sleep,
but without rush,
was the time due to leave,
from Koutsouras.
My three months in this nice village,
are completed,
not a winner I shall go,
but not defeated.

My girl friend's husband,
is arriving today,
so it is proper that with her,
I will not stay.
Early morning, mood is tense,
but carries lust,

Merkel is talking to Obama,
from gray Berlin to Alabama,
or to Washington D.C.
it's blind talk, they cannot see.
- What should we do about the euro?
- Let's take a holiday in Truro,
no euro-dollars such as this…
- Or better still: Let's go to Greece!
- Give them a week and they'll be out,
they're eager but they fuck about.

MILLE REGRETZ
No colour empirical,
still, plenty of colour,
discretion satirical,
the best part of valor.
No fucking reciprocal,
still, plenty of fucking,
in fashion untypical
the issue I'm ducking.
On souls incorporeal,
such as we became,
no demon primordial
could put any blame.
In poetry's poverty,
depicting sheer pain,
it would be a novelty
to love you again!
And share Josquin's penitence,...

"It is my all and everything this camera", you said,
how much can these few words foretell the future we will tread?
But how so, or why so? And yet with such correctness,
a photo born with every click, truth told with terse directness!
We are two tourists after all, or maybe I am not,
I'm not too sure, but I love you, so give it serious thought.
If this is "all and everything" it's good enough for...

SO FAR SO GOOD
So far so good,
feelings that we can manage no more brute,
if something goes amiss we know its root,
so far so good.
This spring fragile,
offers some words of substance for a while,
perhaps we could exchange even a smile,
also fragile.
And leave it there,
as common legacy that we could bear,
reviewing pictures past the fate we dare,
just leave it up to there.
