I am forward and not afraid to speak my mind. My thoughts are often jumbled. My words may be misunderstood. Only certain people "get me" Perhaps nobody does, maybe not even me.

"Six"
Crouched behind the closet door,
I tremble inside as I sit in the still.
Strangle the whimpers, I can't let them escape,
Lumps in my throat threaten their exposure.
The monster beckons me with a grumbling pitch,
Darkness blankets me, I quiver at the sound.
Warmth streams down my legs,
I smell the stench of wicked breath.
Time again to lose a slice of innocence,
I am no longer six and untouched by evil.
