Empty Heart For Rent
EMPTY HEART FOR RENT
Hi, I'm Jeffrey
And as I'm sure you can see,
I have an empty heart for rent
Short term leases an option, at least for the moment
Long term lease preferred
It's a bit of a fixer upper, as in almost everything is broken
But the rent is unbelievably cheap, all I ask is love and affection
For the duration of the lease
I'm practically begging you, please
As an added bonus, everything you help me fix with my heart, I will return the love and affection tenfold,
All I ask is for someone to hold

Whats on my mind?" Facebook, I really don't have the time, to talk about whats on my mind.
Why, you ask? Because not you, nor I will last
long enough... I know not,
the contents of my mind, but I can smell them beginning to rot.
Are you sure you want to know whats on my mind now? Here, I'll give you a taste, and show you now....
I think of love, happiness and death, murder and suicide, nature and the trees outside, the sea, the salt breeze,
smoking the finest green
religion , atheism , satanism,
triangular prisms,
Need I go on? with the physics ...
Why, you ask? Because not you, nor I will last
long enough... I know not,
the contents of my mind, but I can smell them beginning to rot.

If you gave me a chance.
If you gave me a chance
I'd give you the world in your hands
If you gave me a chance
To show you
My love
I'd learn to dance
Just for you
If you gave me a chance
I'd give you a love
That would make even the most beautiful dove
Green with envy
If you would let me
I would touch you in places, oh so sexy
If you gave me a chance
Your lips might get cramps
But your heart might just feel like jumping off stunt ramps
And I would always be there to catch it
Your heart
And mine
Are intertwined
Yet...

World peace

Are the things that fill my dreams
Smoke of many green flowers
Will cleanse the earth
In showers

The warm earth

Both plant and human

Change the planet
Simply by burning

Dead memories and a broken heart
You came into my life from nowhere
You brightened every moment
In your voice I would hear hope
But it was all lies
Designed to torment
And you left me here
All I remember now,
Your eyes
They seemed like the brightest stars
Shining only for me
But I was wrong and it's left me
Scarred
How
Did you deceive me?
That answer I already know
The one that kills me
Though
Is why?
You're gone so all I can do is sigh
And I sit here holding on
To dead memories and a broken heart....
You brightened every moment
In your voice I would hear hope

Make it stop!
Make it stop!
She said with a teardrop...
Make it stop!
The teardrop dropped...
It hit the floor the same time his heart dropped,
Shattering with a nearly audible crash
His body began to thrash
But not wildly
It looked like he was merely shaking, emotionally
Distressed
When in reality he was dying
Dying inside
He gripped his chest
Stretched tight with the words he so desperately wanted to speak, but was forced to hide...
She started to scream
His lungs burst at the seams
Letting loose all the words he had...

California dreams
Last night
I dreamed of a flight
Landing at Los Angeles international
I was on board that flight
Nothing so special, looking out the window
But when I arrived it was so different from my usual residence in Virginia
And yet
I felt more at home than ever before
I met family
Made friends
And smoked the finest green
It seems
Like where I was meant to be
But sadly all good times must end
I flew back to my home in Virginia after eleven days
On the flight there
The seats felt like clouds beneath me

Lead heart
Lead heart
They say I have a big heart
That's true but here's the sad part
The only part
It's made of lead
At times it's so heavy
And my mind grows so weary
I feel dead
My head
Caught in a toxic cloud
Of lies, bittersweet memories and broken dreams
My thoughts fill my skull
Till it seems
Like it's bursting at the seams
Full
Beyond its limits
Each day my heart grows bigger
And so each day, heavier
With the weight of a billion bullets
And only one to end it all
But still I walk on

Dead but still breathing
I'm alive
But I feel dead
This life
Drains every scrap of energy
My heart feels like it's made of lead
My face constantly contorted semi symmetrically
Inside versus out
Is this all life is about?
Smile shines bright outside
But on the inside
Nothing but agony
Misery
And broken dreams
As for my heart it broke a long time ago it seems
I feel numb
I feel like this is dumb
I feel dead
I am dead
Just still breathing...
But I feel dead
This life

A kiss
Simple enough
But a kiss from her, would be bliss
Beyond words
A thought though, at which I can only laugh
For she has love for another
And for me, never

In Her Company...
In her company
I'm soon to be
Her touch
Is a rush
Like riding
A roller coaster through a lightning
Storm
Her voice lands on my ears
And calms all my fears,
A form
Of love
That she refuses to answer with her own
She is a friend
And only so
She has another, and her will refuses to bend,
So for now, I will remain
And when I end
I can only hope,
That there isn't rain,
And that I will be able to cope
With simply being
In her company ...

Memories of a broken heart
The memories of a broken heart
Last
Forever
Never
To be
Free
Apart
From the pain of the past
Burning like embers
From Hell itself
Searing thoughts grip my mind
My heart shattering a million times over
Am I beyond help?
Is my life over
Before it's even begun?
Am I doomed to loneliness?
Hopelessness?
Either way
a broken heart remembers everything
That is to say
They never fade
The memories of pain
Of excruciatingly short lived bliss
I'll always have the memories of a broken heart
Last

Free
