moving on
Almost three months now,
I'm starting to move on,
I guess I realized,
I'm better with you gone.
I saw you today,
Your hand in his,
I honestly can't say,
Thats not something I miss.
But it's getting easier,
With each passing day,
I don't need you to be happy,
I found another way.
I looked at your hand,
You stopped wearing my ring,
Expected myself to cry,
I didn't feel a thing.
You were right,
It all worked out,
The memories we made,
Aren't all I think about.
The notes you wrote,
I will...

Promise me Alice
My dear Alice,
Thank you,
For helping me,
The way you always do.
But Alice,
There is a tear,
In my eye,
I have a fear.
Promise me Alice,
Promise you won't go
Please dont leave me,
Everyone else has so.
I couldn't bear,
For you to leave me too,
I don't even want,
To think about losing you.
Promise me Alice,
Im begging you please,
Its all that I ask,
It would stop my fear with ease.
Thank you,

I know I hurt you,

But hurting you more,
Is honestly my biggest fear.
You're so amazing,
I miss you so much,
My heart raced,
Every time we touched.
You're always on my mind,
Theres never a day,
That I don't think of you,
In some way.
When I think about it,
It makes me want to cry,
If we weren't friends,
I think I may die.
I miss you my dear,

I love you.

This desolating notion,
This Pressing thought,
This dreadful rememberance,
In my mind will rot.
A wonderful blessing,
A dreaded curse,
I'm not far from,
A ride in a hearse.
Your memory remains,
After too much to drink,
Without you here,
All I do is think.
Whats this,
Something calling my name,
So sharp and unforgiving,
The blade.

Tears in my Eyes,
Put it to my wrist,

I just don't care
You got mad and left,
I told you You were right,
Only because honestly,
I'm way too drunk to fight.
So here we go,
Drama time again,
I guess i missed the memo,
That made fun a sin.
I saw you last week,
His hands where mine used to belong,
Then you scream cheater when I text my best friend,
And say I've done you wrong.
I think I should go,
It wont bother me to say goodbye,
You weren't good to me,
Why should I try?
You got down on your knees,
And said that you needed me there,
I walked away,

Always wishing you were there,
I really shouldn't walk this world,
Afraid to let myself care.
These are the scars you left,
When you walked out of this place,
To this day,
Tears still roll down my face.

My life is a dark abyss,
The therapist can't assist,
The cuts upon my wrist,
So deep I can't make a fist,
Losing you was the catalyst,
To all this pain,
I keep pleading in vain,
For you to take me back,
I am a hypochondriac,
Trying to fix shit that isn't there,
The events were so unfair,
But go on live your life,
Continue to twist the knife,
I get it; I no longer belong here,
This one is for you my dear.

We the broken
We the shattered,
We the broken,
Are the products,
Of words left unspoken.
We the doomed,
To walk this world in sorrow,
Still have hope,
Of a better tomorrow.
For that is all you left,
When you walked out of this place,
I wish I could stop,
The tears rolling down my face.
We the brokenhearted,
Raise our voices in pain,
Although we know,
It is all in vain.
We will march,
In our desolation parade,
All the while hoping,
The pain will fade.

If I told you I still love you,
What would you say,
Would you say you love me too,
Or laugh and walk away,
So many thing i wish i had done,
So many things I wish I hadn't,
Life without you isn't fun,
Many things have crossed my mind but you haven't,

Oh my dear Alice
The pain I cannot bare,
I wish to go to Wonderland,
Come with me if you dare.
Ah Wonderland,
Where dreams do come true,
It seems to be,
The best place for me and you.
We'll celebrate un-birthdays,
With cats that can disappear,
Come with me Alice,
We won't have to live in fear.
We can drink tea all day,
And play all night,
Every waking moment,
Won't have to be a fight.

I'm looking in the mirror,
Who is that,
I wish I could see clearer,
Is that me,
Theres no way,
Looking back at all the pain i've caused,
I hurt the one person I never meant to,
My story needs to be paused,
Maybe then I can pull it all together,
I need to find a way to rewind it,
Go back to where I lost what I had,
And find it,
But life isn't perfect,
And it never works out that way does it,
The outcomes always different from what we would select,
Everything happens for a reason,
