POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
All that I write is all that I hear, my words are merely the conversations of the voices from within my head that I have to endure every day. Never sacrifice imagination in the pursuit of sanity. x
The Highgate Vampires
There's a hotel room that sits close by to Highgate cemetery. Its sheets lay clean unyet its conscience remains dirty. The bathtub now embraces a warm welcoming smell of hot steamy water mixed with sensual oils and body wash. Two years prior however, that very tub encompassed the twisted torso of an un-named human. Water was not the liquid of its filling, rather it was the warm plentiful blood from the poor woman who's body remained in the tub for days.
"I cast my mind back to that dreary night of lavish killing, that night of the exquisite taste that did grace my tongue and...

Howard's Gate
Chester 1700's
A large manner house stood silently one summers evening. It was buried within the encompassing arms of a large black iron railing fence that surrounded the grounds upon which it sat. The night was calm, a soft breeze gently fluttered by like a summer butterfly. In the distance a small grumbling of thunder was faintly heard. Carried by the breeze one could just about make out its menacing voice, terrorising a lonesome merchant ship making its way to the new worlds harbour.
The manners grounds were overgrown wild menacing gardens, the lone groundsman had been overpowered...

An exhausted goodbye to winters frost
I felt the moistening frost beneath my bare feet.
Melting frost dripped away from the morning suns renewed heat.
A summer dress was all that covered my slender female form.
Unyet in the dying winters hour I felt strangely warm.
A rough rope sat within my hand.
I knew what needed to be done and only those who know my pain would understand.
The large oak tree greeted my gaze and welcomed my rope upon it's branch.
We were now connected the tree and I.
Joined in unholy matrimony like that of a black cloud upon a summers sky.
My body swung and my neck burned...

The Jackal of All Hallows' Eve
Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
William Congreve
My mother once told me a story of a Jackal, who would only appear to the tune of a fires crackle sung along side that of a Wiccan's cackle.
On All Hallows' Eve if a woman ever felt vengeful then she could call upon the Devils Jackal.
But heed this warning, if ever you find comfort in the arms of a Jackal then expect not to see the morning.
For when we strike down with vengeance our foe we strike a blow against oneself also.
However, years later I...

Loves Constraints
Do you picture yourself within in such a constrained manner?
Do you speak as though you know love as well as I?
Let me tell you that love is fear and fear is love,
For heavens above us know that what I teach you girl is true and gospel and all that you know has come from above,
Now kneel before and relinquish such unjust upon my hand,
know that what I did was out of love and all that I will do is out of life.

Frozen Starlight
Take pity upon me, for my heart knows love unyet my hands feel not her skin.
My eyes gaze upon the starlit night sky, natural cosmic diamonds whose beauty is nothing compared to hers within.
We meet briefly every month, for those hours our hands entwine.
The night is paused and all is frozen, the nights stars forever continue to shine.
Woe is us for our lives can never merge, know that my love is with you and our light shines bright.
Dark are my days until those hours of light, when thy smile eclipses the beauty of a million nights of starlight.

My sinister secret
You occupy that dark space within my mind,
the small corner of sinister immoral feelings that bring me such pleasure and joy.
I know nothing of what it takes to be with you,
unyet I die every night from never holding you.
Please just listen to my sweet surrender of love and know that I am here because of you,
I write because of you and I will die, because of you.
My love, my world, my sinister secret.
the small corner of sinister immoral feelings that bring me such pleasure and joy.
I know nothing of what it takes to be with you,
unyet I die every night from never holding you.
Please just listen to my sweet surrender of love and know that I am here because of you,
I write because of you and I will die, because of you.
My love, my world, my sinister secret.
