Hell in Paris

It all started as a romantic evening with Ron in the city of lights. Vintage love songs were playing in the background of the restaurant. We just stared at each other with delight and patience. The world could’ve crashed down and we still wouldn’t have moved a bit. Finally the waitress arrived with the bill. She rested a black leather folder in the table. I reached out but Ron had beaten me to it. He beamed with satisfactory, “This is my treat, Melissa.” Ron was such a gentleman.

I fell for it every time back in the day
You used to have a sweet heart
And I was naïve for I couldn’t deny
Those blond curls that just made my day
A smile that made me want to play
He is an overdose
Tastes like coke but worth as much as cocaine
You can never get enough
Though he’s danger
Stopping is tough
Tense alone
Wild with friends
The human lies
I knew he liked to play the ball
But more than home base seemed way too far
I bet he’d tell all his friends

To know the innocence trapped within your soul
Is to know your way in life
Thinking of love and depression, the only things at minding space
Talented hands you have, capable of breaking hearts

In love with the pain
Craving for tears
Holding on this guilt
Haunting me for years
No other direction
That I can see or choose
Trapped in this love maze
Locked up with you
Eyes always wonder
Looking around
What I did to deresrve this
Heart has burned down
So my soul is still searching
For peace and for care
For someone who will notice
If I am or not there

Butterfly

Too bright to ignore
So dark you get sucked in
So hard to let go, but I must begin
I ignored all the sayings
Of those ones who spoke truth
Defended you in pain meaninglessly
That’s what I get in return
To deep not to fall in
So unclear, it’s mysterious
My guard, down
The fake you, exposed
Not the slight sight of nice joy
Deaf of love, happiness and belonging.
Too bright to ignore

She served herself to him on a silver platter
To find five magic wands running all over her
“You can poke me, cut me, bite me, kiss me, love me!”
She gasped asking for more sensations
“You shall do as you wish…”
It was the delicacy in his skin
That caused her an endless grin
Never wanted to abandon that bed
Feeling surrounded but safe
Grabbing pulling all in reach with body widely exposed
They shared a connection of all the good in the world

Legendary power withholding the universe
Cursing and feeding on innocence lives
Appealing and appearing elegant to the human eye
Approaching in silence and leaving with pain
I cannot do so
I can’t hurt a soul, can’t touch a thing
Spending time in tragedies
Feeling deeply drowning oceans
Showing smiles to cover up
Locking away any threat
Stepping back from opportunities
Living in fear of reality
Dreaming, waiting, hoping to hear truth
