Tonight is the last time you will see me
As you know, when you get back
I would have move across town
After what we shared
You do not have the decency
To say the final goodbye

The night seemed perfect
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon
The birds the flying ever so high
Trees green and full of life
Swaying with the slight summer breeze
The smell of the ocean was crisp and clean
After passing our final exams
Having one too many alcoholic beverages
We were all were laughing
Playing pool
Singing off key extremely loud
The afternoon seemed just perfect
The sun was setting
The moon was climbing into position
Stars shone brightly
As the night sky set in
Saying my goodbyes,
Having one last drink before the journey home...

My Grim Reaper
A restless sleep for me is a ritual
I have become accustomed to my nightmares
I can hear the bats swooping by my cracked window
The tree branches scratching at my window pane
I feel a strange presence in my small room
I roll over and open my eyes
The clock says 02:39
A creature draped in a tatted black cloak carrying a large scythe
A crow the black as the darkness of a night with no moon
Thin Skelton wings protruding from his back
From under the cloak a finger points towards me
I feel safe but also terrified ...
I have become accustomed to my nightmares

I have came to a realisation as I sit here, waiting for you
How F**king stupid am I
As I have just realise that
You don’t care about me
Only when it suits you
I have to stop letting you get to me
I need to strength
I need to forget about you
Not the lesson that you have taught me,

I will encase you in white
I will send you ablaze
For each and every breath I take
The breath that I hold
I will savour you
Swirl you around
Around with my tongue
I will feel your warmth
I will feel you
Pulse through my veins
Sending me into a fogy haze of tranquillity
I will have to slowly exhale
So you do not feel discarded

So my mind can be is slowly released from the darkness within
The shadows will be replaced

Used to make me beam
As I know that you are now back
The thought of you walking past my window
Would make me ecstatic
As I knew that you would tap and say hi
We would talk about our past
Our lives
Speak about everything
We made each other smile and giggle
We could be open to each other and shared our past
You somehow let me drop my barriers down and let you into my heart
I allowed myself to feel, believe that what we shared was something exceptional
