Mother
Do you know what you’ve done
Did you see what you did
Was all for fun
Was he really worth it
Would he come back now
When he took his due
Was the night for him

I see
My day, your day,
Damn everyone’s day
starts off the same exact way.
With eye’s wide open.
The only difference is what you see
When things come into focus.
What I see,
what I wish I can unsee
causes all thoughts and comprehension to pause.
Like my brain, this supercomputer of mine just freezes, due to a system glitch.
The problem is I am not a computer, and the glitch comes from existing.

I think I lost you
Somewhere in the words
We laughed and joked
And said things that were upsurd
I wondered if we were friends
Someone who could
Understand
What I tried to convey
With a pen in my hand
Yes I lost you
And I am ok
The sun still rose
And the rain washed allot away
One day we'll might
Run into each other again
Do not worry
I am still your friend.
