POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Riding the waves
Riding through the crescent of the wave
the mighty roar of the surf deafens me.
Obliterating my senses, of reason,
just looking for a moment to be free
White frothy foam swirls overhead,
abandoned boards of others abound.
One lost ride would be near suicide
causing major problems to all.
The ebb and flow of the tide
pushes and pulls against my will.
Yet I glide towards the distant shoreline,

Serenity
I sit here waiting
Waiting for the words to flow
Like dancing feet across the page
None will show!!!
Why have my words disappeared
When will a waltz start in my heart
my pen is silent, starved it seems
Of ideas that can arouse my start
Am I serene I fear not
A rage is boiling deep within
The injustice of man
When being open is a sin
Dampens the thoughts before they sprout
Green leaves of hope within the soul
Waiting for the words to flow
Like dancing feet across the page
None will show!!!
Why have my words disappeared
When will a waltz start in my heart
my pen is silent, starved it seems
Of ideas that can arouse my start
Am I serene I fear not
A rage is boiling deep within
The injustice of man
When being open is a sin
Dampens the thoughts before they sprout
Green leaves of hope within the soul
