POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
My name is Don, I am 49 years old and have been divorced for about two years. I write all kinds of poetry. I feel that everyone has an erotic side and it needs to be explored. Rock my body, jump my bones, as I tempt you with poetic tones
Mood View
The view from this mood
Is like a cloudy day
It’s like the endless rain
That just won’t go away
Hope is not the reason that I take another breath
Life’s a mere existence as I wait upon my death
Memories of childhood
All the joy and fun
Swimming at the beach
Playing in the sun
Like the petals of a rose
That wilt and fall away
Those memories are fading
Into a darker day

Cemetery Prayer
With dignity honor and grace
Let us gather in this hallowed place
To cherish a life and remember a love
To give their soul to the lord above
On this hill, with a glorious view
we provide rest for the chosen few
Stand with me now, make me stronger
Hold my hand a little longer
I am here to say goodbye
In my heart you shall abide
Amen

Just Thinking
Deep in thought
my minds adrift
Like a bending river flowing
These contemplation's
They come and go
I know not where They're going
They have no beginning
They have no end
They just seem to be
In my head
While I lay in bed
Such a mystery to me
I don't know when It happened
I finally fell asleep
I wake refreshed and happy
After my journey through the deep

A True Victory
Take something that caused you woe
Use it to sow
The seeds that help you grow
Then you can be glad
For the wisdom you had
To see the need
For such a harvest

Love Storm
Raindrops down the window pane
Sound of thunder fills the air
A storm of confusion in my head
My heart is in despair
Wind is howling the rain is heavy
On and on it rages
My soul to you was an open book
You tore out all the pages

Open Letter To a Girl
My body reacts as you come into view
My brain scrambles at the thought of you
I love your hair and the way that you walk
My tongue gets so tied I can’t even talk
We share no words or a single greeting
You pass me by, the moments are fleeting
You don’t know my name or even how I look
But I learned more from you then any book
For I went to that spot for several days in a row
The days turned to months and you never did show
I learned to act upon my hearts desires
To seize every moment before it expires

My Mother
Carrying me through labor
Enduring my birth
Giving me life
You brought me to this earth
From your bosom
You gave me milk
I remember the hands
That felt like silk
You dressed me, you fed me
You combed my hair
Through the tantrums and crying
You were always there
In this world, there is no other
There is no one like MY MOTHER

Animal Instincts
From behind
You are unaware
With one hand I grab your hair
Pulling back in one rough motion
I come to take you
I do what I please
Your full breast I gently squeeze
With my fingers
Your nipples I twist
Your breath quickens
You wet your lips
Buttons fly
As your blouse rips
The animal is released
You are unaware
With one hand I grab your hair
Pulling back in one rough motion
I come to take you
I do what I please
Your full breast I gently squeeze
With my fingers
Your nipples I twist
Your breath quickens
You wet your lips

Lonely Years
Loneliness
Taunts me
It echoes in an empty room
It’s my solitary confinement
My punishment for bad decisions
The quietness gets louder
Late into a restless night
Dreams are my oasis
If only I could sleep
The moon is full
As my heart once was
The perfume has evaporated
There are no more tears
Just long
Lonely years
Taunts me
It echoes in an empty room
It’s my solitary confinement
My punishment for bad decisions
The quietness gets louder
Late into a restless night
Dreams are my oasis
If only I could sleep
The moon is full
As my heart once was
The perfume has evaporated
There are no more tears
Just long
Lonely years

Inspite
I wish i may
I wish i might
I wish i may in spite
In spite of my troubles
In spite of my past
In spite of the addiction
That seems to last
I am on a journey
To climb a mountain
Seeking change and glory
From the knowledge fountain
long nights and tired days
Working hard in many ways
Now my victory is within reach
To countless others i will teach
In spite of the pain and misery
In spite of it all
You can be free
In spite

Twisted
My mind is twisted
I am getting confused
It started out fun
Now I feel used
You are so beautiful
An absolute dream
You touch the deepest part of me
I get so high with you
I am afraid to fall
afraid to fall
afraid to fall
I sit in silence
Twisted

Deja Vu
When hope is exhausting
All you feel is despair
The sand in the hourglass
Has turned to thin air
Your concept of time
Well
Gets lost in a rhyme
Your questions have no answers
Your answers don’t make sense
You already know the story
Without a hint of suspense
Yes
You have been here before
Perhaps in a dream
You know the exact moment
When you are about to scream
It is in the dictionary
On page 56
It’s called
