Same old dungeons
Same old dragons
I refuse to be-
ordinary
Seeking a knight for safety
To hell with frights & fears
It is time for anew
Start, mindset, life
I realized, not yesterday
Nor today, but recently
If I don't take charge
I will surely get sacrificed
Or bulldozed
by men & animal alike
Women hold all power
This is an age old secret
It is the reason why witches came to be
& why their power was so feared
Tale became reality
Wives, mothers killed for...

Days White Lie
Days light scalds till night
burns a hole right through me
in moons gaze
I break into sparks of suns
to become fires rage
then ash of sin
night cleaves my breath
devours whole my tongue
one step, two back, return
In the night,
I see the real
veiled by the days white lie
Joe stained smiles
sleep walks
and talks
while feet mark time,
to a drumless beat
burns a hole right through me

sitting grounded and still
