What's the point?
For far to long, my passion has been stripped
from within, and I’ve misplaced all desire
to watch my budding goals or dreams transpire.
Awaiting resolution for life’s script
where death escorts me to my final crypt.
Almost as if stuck deeply in a mire,
I struggle to find a chance to acquire
change within this fellow who’s nondescript.
Yet, often I scream to the universe.
Upon deaf ears, I beg to know my role.
Is it all for naught but to die alone?
Will I forever bear this dreadful curse,
or shall an epiphany wake my soul? ...

Dissonance Of The Mind
Old friend you're my eternal annoyance.
Constantly you linger here, yet never
able to maintain your vile endeavor:
to steal any semblance of my joyance.
While you obscure the eyes of clairvoyance;
this mind gets noticeably less clever,
as paranoid delusions will sever
all of this reality's flamboyance.
Life's luster lost it's glittering, sleek shine.
Colors subtly transformed into bland gray,
as both our psyches began to entwine;
still, I resist your orders to obey.

Hidden Meadow
Imagine this - a meadow kept away
from sight's first glance, upon which I would view;
Lilacs, lavender and daffodils grew,
and kept bees extra busy through the day,
with gentle breezes they ardently sway.
While sweet song-bird's melodically coo;
I lay observing cloudless skies of blue,
enchanted by nature's amorous play.
Were I the first to touch this pure divine,
or the next knight to taste it's tempting wine?
As I sit under the cool shade of trees,
all time would suddenly begin to freeze;
like balloons floating up...

At First Sight
Your beauty,
shines brighter than the full-moon’s radiance,
while from across the room I steal a glance,
I’ll wait patiently for my greatest chance,
might I fulfill this primal adience.
Your voice,
resonates within my young aching core,
like the sweet sounds of an angelic choir;
to hear you speak is all I would desire,
sing to me and my heart will be done for.
Your love,
is water, which could quench my longing soul,
if only from your heart’s river I’d drink;
my life would be incredibly...

At a Roads End
At a Road’s End
Sun-drenched hillsides elate my youthful soul,
as I aimlessly ramble down lost roads.
Forgotten woods filled with life; croaking toads,
a slithering snake, hooting owls, young foal.
Along this magic adventure I stroll;
to find the hidden city of pure gold,
or would nature’s secrets I e’er behold?
This blissful view of mine, Tomorrow stole.

Waiting
Waiting
Oh Wretched temptress, leave my fragile heart,
riddance to these recurring restless dreams,
where our paths never happened to depart,
awakening to shed tears like swift streams.
If love should ever cross my path again,
will it be just as sweet as you and me,
and cause me such distraught when love is slain;
to sink back down into this woeful sea.
Perhaps, had I not known your bitter touch,
my skies would still be painted as light blue,
and would I be a better man as such;
or sorrowful, for you I never knew....

Open Door
Open Door
Amidst a drunken dream I gently stride.
Exploring an endless dim-lit hallway.
When should I find an end will soon collide.
A most peculiar door; dark, grim and gray.
Are door’s of this nature commonly found?
For when opened I find an empty void;
in fact, I could no longer spot the ground.
As if the room had found itself destroyed.
Ink black abyss, what waits for me beyond?
Will this individual be lost inside;
or find myself beginning to abscond?
I think it’s wrong to run away and hide.
...

October winds, for once, bestowed warmth.
With falling leaves my soul became joyous.
The bitterness inside instantly gone.
My skies, once somber gray, turn azureus.
Let waves of pleasure crash upon my heart.
As Winter snow was falling heavily;
I slipped deep into enjoyment’s grasp.
A taste of heaven’s pure divinity.
Cocoa, good laughs and plenteous memories.
Perchance, I would be saved from myself.
Rain-drops drizzle down as spring arrives in haste.
Lilacs would bloom, a garden full of life.
Big spiders...

Awoken
Verse One
The booming sound of a drum hidden deep.
This place, for some time, had been deserted.
Into all rooms the music begins to seep.
Can this disturbance within be averted?
Recently, silence has been my only friend.
Should I suppress this rhythm coming from below?
Up through my very core the music does ascend.
Now the reason for my panic begins to show.
Enter a luminous light dancing on the wall.
My eyes were reborn, immersed in the newborn flame.
