Thoughts
Plummeting.

Bouncing off the walls of the shallow mind.
Mind spinning.
Spinning from exhaustion, in attempt to restrain the unwanted thoughts.
The dreaded memories.
The sudden weight strains the heavy heart,
As it relives the pain
Again and again
The heaviness taking the shape of words.
The emptiness taking the shape of images.
Together, they tighten a rope around the heart.

They leave as quickly as they came.
